Yodel Mobile provided App Store Optimisation (ASO) support to improve the visibility, discoverability, and conversion performance of the HerVenture app, with a focus on the Nigerian market. The work covered both iOS and Android over a six-month period.

The project delivered strong, measurable improvements across visibility, traffic, conversion, and user acquisition on both iOS and Android.

Project management was strong and efficient throughout. Yodel ran well-structured biweekly calls with clear agendas, and provided regular, easy-to-follow reports on progress and performance. Deliverables were consistently provided on time, and the team was responsive with quick turnaround on questions or requests. Overall, it was a well-organised engagement with a high-calibre team that was easy and enjoyable to work with.

What stood out most was how far they went to truly understand our audience and mission. Our app serves a very specific user base, supporting aspiring women entrepreneurs in low- and middle-income countries, and Yodel took the time to deeply understand both the users and the impact we’re trying to achieve. They went well beyond a standard ASO approach to help us hyperlocalise effectively, ensuring the work was genuinely relevant and culturally appropriate.

There were no obvious areas for improvement. The team was consistently highly engaged, thoughtful, and a pleasure to work with. Everyone we interacted with was switched on, responsive, and clearly cared about both the work and the impact it was creating. Yodel built the app acquisition strategy and plan across multiple paid channels, as well as the ASO strategy and plan. Their team designed and built multiple sets of creatives to use across paid and ASO channels. They managed the paid spend across the paid channels, driving installs and bookings, and they managed the ASO updates, driving organic installs and bookings.

Yodel Mobile helped us with app store optimization (ASO) through keyword research and creating new graphics for the application stores' images. The team also supported our strategy for selecting a technology partner for our mobile measurement tracking and CRM for engaging with customers. Our engagement with Yodel Mobile was consultative because they helped us determine who we should work with. Yodel Mobile also helped us define a suggested web strategy.
