I work for a major tech company and lead innovation and influencer marketing for our consumer retail organization in the US.

We wanted to drive awareness for a new product that tackles the topic of cybersecurity in a way that makes this daunting topic accessible. We reached out to TAR to see if they could help us drive this innovation with gamification.

We selected TAR because they had an amazing vision for this campaign and had experience in the WEB 3.0 and gamification space. They went above and beyond to lead this project for us.

Our goal was to drive awareness of a new cyber safety product. We went into an RPF with several agencies and decided to work with TAR because their understanding of our goal and how to accomplish our desired outcomes was spot on. We went from ideation to creation hand in hand - landing feedback in a systematic way. It has been the best experience working with TAR.

We talked to 3-5 people on the TAR team, but Mario the CEO really stepped in to land this first project we worked on together.

I'm the CEO and disaster manager at Choncha, an IoT company. We have a hardware and software development side. We develop smart plant pots.

We needed help with the software side of our smart plant pot.

Takeaway Reality provided AR/VR development for our smart plant. Their work was an add-on to our existing application. We discussed the design in a meeting. I told them our vision, and they did the design from the get-go. Our application monitors the state of the plant in our pot, but we wanted to expand our user journey. We wanted to recommend the perfect plant for the user before they bought the plant.

We searched for AR development companies, and Takeaway Reality appeared in the first five recommendations. It was a blessing because they're based in Zagreb, and I think they're the only company in Zagreb that does AR development. It was an easy choice.

The end cost was €14,000.

We started talking and brainstorming with Takeaway Reality at the end of 2024. The official development began in January 2025, and we finished in May 2025.

We did a test patch that showed an increase of 50%–60% in engagement. We noticed that the time users spent on our app increased. Users usually spend much more time testing the app on random plants in the house and outside. Our app usage grew by a considerable margin.

Takeaway Reality just started working, and it worked. We noticed they fixed issues immediately because someone worked overtime to address them. Takeaway Reality didn't push the issues to the following Monday. We communicated via Google Meet calls. When I was in Zagreb, we sometimes had live meetings.

We were amazed at their capabilities. I didn't know how Takeaway Reality could create something from our imagination. Before working with them, we had bad experiences with agencies regarding deadlines. We had interns do our projects.

Recreate the experience of taking dental CE courses at the world famous Kois Center in VR. Students come here from all over the world to hear Dr. John Kois present his patient methedology. The courses are 55 hours each and keep the students engaged through out. It is common for groups to come together. Taking the course must be presented in a way that makes it an acceptable subsitute for attending in person. The application must also handle log in information that is stored in a seperate CRM.

A project scope was agreed upon that had set deliverable and strict delivery dates. All deliverables were met and deliveried early.

They delivered all items on time and responded extremely fast. I work with several teams in other time zones; Takeaway Reality has one of the best response times.

I never brought up a question more than once, either as a feature request or a bug during testing. Releases were well planned, well organized, and well documented, so I always knew where project development was.

I’m the CEO of FFIND’s Italian, German, and English branches. I’ve worked there since I was 23, so about 20 years. We collect data, so we’re in the market research world. We specialize in computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI), which means telephonic and online interviews.

Traditional market research uses different methodologies. For example, it can be conducted over the phone, face-to-face, or at a central local location for product testing. Our mission was to convert all existing methodologies into VR.

Takeaway Reality has supported us in developing an AR/VR tool for market research called Rexee. Initially, we prepared a brief document and went through many calls because they wanted to dive deep into the project and understand if they could help us. Then, they started with some informative workshops to understand what we needed. We also provided them with some guidelines.

We’ve mainly worked with 3–4 teammates, including Mario (Founder & CEO), Marko (Development Team Lead), and some developers.

Our marketing department did some online scouting and ended up with a set of providers. We contacted some companies in Italy and Germany and conducted some first interviews.

We began working with them in June 2023, and our partnership is ongoing. We have a contract in place, and we’ll undoubtedly continue our relationship.

With innovation, you never know if you’ll have the result you expect because it might be too late or too early. However, we already had a usable demo in three months, which was good because then we could discuss with our clients how the product should develop.

They’ve delivered on time and within budget. Sometimes they even add things that weren’t requested. We’ve taken a little bit longer due to our fault, so we have nothing to address with them. Overall, they’ve been good in terms of the deadlines. They might be late one day, but a day isn’t anything in a one-year project, so everything’s good.

The developers are super nice, but Mario is our main point of contact. We share most of our ideas, follow the deadlines and roadmap, and build everything with him.

The team is so open that we’ve given them additional work outside the original scope. Even outside the business side, they’ve worked with us for nearly one year, and we like the whole team.

No, there hasn’t been anything critical up to this point. We’re pretty satisfied with the general quality.

The more they can influence the project, the better. I’m 42, so I’m not old, but these people are under 28–30, so they’re pretty young. I love their power and enthusiasm, so I advise letting Takeaway Reality express themselves and listen to what they want to say.
