Slide is building us an entirely new company website, with about 15 unique screens and dozens of pages. This includes all design, research, usability testing,.and development. The website also includes two interactive components: a 36-question business health assessment and a multi-input valuation calculator.

Keeping to timelines, vision alignment, functionality, usability testing feedback. Ultimately we will track engagement, bounce rate, CTR, etc.

They have been on time or early for every deadline, they spell out needs and deliverables clearly in timely recap emails, and they are highly responsive to update and change requests. Primary work involved building use-cases and user flows for our users. Design work on various useability issues that came up along the way. Mockups were created and a full understanding of application and problem space was required.

Project work was generally done on time. We had a "somewhat" informal process on deliverables and timelines. There was quite a bit of line-of-scrimmage decisions made along the way. The contractor worked well with the team and did a good job understanding our goals and requirements, along the way.

I think only area i can think of is having more "creative" options around mockups and UI thinking. We worked close together and sometimes the engineers would "steer" the conversation down a certain path with the designer and sometimes i felt like it didn't allow as much creative freedom as one would like.

I’m the founder and CEO of AI Empowered Mom, a platform and community helping moms and caregivers adopt AI to reduce the mental load of parenthood.

We needed help with the UX design of our AI product for families.

Slide UX has designed the UX and registration flow of our product.

My main point of contact is Megan, Senior Director. She brought in an experienced UX designer named Frater, the Senior Product Designer. Frater did most of the heavy lifting on the design work. Erin, the Founder & CEO, and Tom, Senior Product Designer, both provided insight early in the process.

Erin is a member of my personal network. I knew her in college. Initially, I reached out to them and got a bid for designing the UX and registration. I had to fundraise, and once I had the money, I came back to them. I talked to a couple of other companies and got bids from them, including offshore companies. However, Slide UX seemed to understand the market, my point of view, and my product, so I selected them based on fit.

We’ve spent $16,000.

We started working together in April 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

The project was completed on time, on budget, and exceeded my quality expectations. The designs have received positive feedback. I’ve been able to take the screens and share them with potential customers for feedback. Slide UX has been able to update the designs in real time.

The project management was seamless. Megan managed the project, and it was so easy for me. I knew what to expect and when to expect it. The team had to navigate many different time zones to accommodate folks in India, Pakistan, and the US. We were able to find convenient times to meet, and scheduling was easy. They met all of their milestones, so the project management was excellent.

What impressed me the most was how well they understood my product and brand. It felt like they were part of my team, not like I was working with an outside vendor. They understood what I was working on and trying to build.

I’m not a Slack person, so sometimes I would miss their messages. The only thing I could think of for improvement was asking how I wanted to communicate. I would have preferred email or text messages. If they want to use Slack, that’s fine; it just takes me longer to respond.

Don’t hesitate to work with them. It’s a wonderful team, and you’ll enjoy working with them. Let them know your perspective, but give them a bit of creative freedom. Once they understand what you’re trying to build, they’ll make it look and feel so much better than you could have imagined.

Slide UX conducted user research to determine needs of a parent and student audience relative to our existing products, which currently serve educators and administrators. The research included recruitment, interviews, synthesis of findings, and competitor research.

The deliverables we received are immediately helpful for two reasons: one is to produce evidence of the user research conducted and use the findings to help our funding partners more responsibly develop our joint roadmap. The other is to lay the foundation for design of features that will come later this year. Both purposes were very well served by this engagement.

Slide UX's project management was stellar. Weekly updates were succinct and clear. Progress was evident at all stages, and I felt like I could depend on their organization to lead the work. It's rare to feel "hands-off" yet still get productive output like this.

I appreciated Slide UX's organization and project management. I also found them very helpful with their willingness to pivot scope and deliverables to meet our needs, rather than just following the original plan into a dead end. Lastly, they are a very kind and intelligent group of folks.

It is difficult to think of areas for growth. If our design component of the project had been deeper, I would've wanted more engagement on fitting into our product's existing design system -- but that was not to be expected with the shallow level of wireframing they were scoped to do.
