I’m the founder and COO of a home health agency. We send clinicians to patients’ homes to treat them, including nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.

We needed support for our back office with digital and AI transformation.

Intuz has been building multiple solutions that support our back office with AI tools. For example, we have a receptionist who is a voice AI agent. We also have a fax reader agent. Intuz has built multiple custom AI agents for us.

We have two dedicated teammates: a senior software engineer and a data scientist who also serves as an AI engineer. We also have a tech lead, a project manager, and a DevOps engineer who comes and goes depending on the need. A designer and a frontend engineer also come and go as the project demands.

Intuz’s founder and I were friends back in our USC days. I knew he had a company, so I reached out when I had tech needs.

We pay Intuz $15,000–$20,000 per month, depending on how many people are engaged. We’ve spent around $120,000–$130,000 so far.

We started working with Intuz in April 2025, and our relationship is ongoing.

Intuz’s work is helping us save time and money. I had a similar company in the past, and I used to have a five-person team whose job was to read and send out faxes. Now, I have half a person assigned to that because of all the automation.

Intuz delivers on time and on budget. We’ve had delays, but those aren’t necessarily related to project management. The delays are because of the discovery phase. We ended up experimenting with running all the models locally. That didn’t work out, so we migrated all the agents to the cloud on AWS. That delayed the project a little bit. However, that’s not a project management issue. It’s standard practice in the industry to try an approach and then move on to a different approach if it doesn’t work.

The most impressive thing about Intuz is their ability to convert my vision into reality. I came in with a vague vision. The team was patient in getting that vision out of me and into the documents. Then, they turned it into reality.

There’s one area for sure. I wasn’t a fan of Basecamp, so I’m happy we eventually migrated to Linear.

Don’t have a vague vision. Have a concrete vision; that’ll make your life easier. I’ve worked through my vision, and that’s where my delay came from. I had a vision, but I didn’t have defined specifications. Intuz was able to turn that vision into something tangible, but that resulted in delays.

Overall, we’ve had a very positive experience with Intuz, and there’s little I would change. If anything, having more overlap with our time zone would make real-time collaboration even smoother—but given the offshore nature of the team, that’s more of a logistical challenge than a shortcoming. They've done a great job accommodating our schedule and maintaining strong communication despite the time difference.
