I’m the chief of staff of constellr, a company that provides high-resolution thermal intelligence from space, enabling defense, security, and infrastructure monitoring by revealing activity and patterns that optical and radar sensors may miss, even in challenging environments.

We needed a new website to represent our evolving organization. We were looking for a partner who could help us from end to end and deliver a high-quality product that would serve as the face of our company post-Series A. We needed to finish this on a very short timeline and had limited resources.

Flying Bisons designed and developed our website, created most of the content, and launched the site. Their team interviewed all the members of our team to put together a full understanding of the scope we wanted to include in our new website. They also provided post-launch fixes and were extremely proactive!

Flying Bisons delivered the website on time and in a very short time frame. The site represented our evolving organization very well and served as a key enabler to advancing our revenue targets and pipeline building. We had much higher qualitative indicators, and the website represented our new direction post-pivot and maturity post-Series A. It now serves as an enabler for us to advance partnerships with our target groups. I'm the CTO at an indoor water park. I manage the IT department and technologies used in the facility.

We needed help building our website and e-commerce.

Initially, Flying Bisons created an information page since the facility was under construction. We started to keep our market updated about the park, and when we knew the exact details of the park, Flying Bisons started to build our e-commerce. Now, Flying Bisons is extending our system and building features that other software from the shelf doesn't have. Flying Bisons is responsible for the system's UX and front- and backend development. Flying Bisons has developed a functionality where users can manage their own tickets and choose the date, the type of ticket, and other details. Flying Bisons offers continuous web development and improvement and has changed our site to AWS. We still collaborate with the team on product development, and we've extended the team periodically to achieve the desired goals.

When I started working at my current position, my company was already engaged with Flying Bisons. I know we interviewed other companies and selected Flying Bisons because we liked their portfolio and found it fit our vision for the product.

I joined my company in February 2019, and we already collaborated with Flying Bisons. The CEO of my company introduced me to the team when I started at my position.

Our website works fine; we haven't experienced any outages or downtime. Even when there was a massive downturn in the German hosting company we used, the system switched automatically due to its redundancy, so we didn't experience any downtime. We perform regular security tests, and we've received positive feedback from customers saying the system works well. Our promotions started at midnight during Black Friday, and our system worked well. This promotion had a significant impact on our company, and the system managed more than 100,000 customers at the same time. The ticketing functionality developed by Flying Bisons has been very helpful, and it was a good decision to switch our site to AWS because it works perfectly, and the transactions load faster. Flying Bisons is really flexible in adjusting their team according to our requirements. The team has great ideas and listens to us to respect our vision. For us, it's important our input is heard, and our cooperation with Flying Bisons is working well in this field.

I want to highlight Paweł (Head of Technology) because he started working with us years ago on the development and structure of APIs we used. He became head of technology, and Marek (Baceknd Development Manager) took his place. The entire team is working perfectly.

I'm mostly impressed by Flying Bisons' flexibility because we've often changed our priorities and cut deadlines shorter, and the team never complains and follows our requirements. Even when we have two days before releasing other updates, if we ask the team to switch priorities, they immediately do it. We can usually meet on the same day.

I can't think of any significant improvements Flying Bisons can make.

I suggest starting your engagement with Flying Bisons with a workshop because, during this time, I learned and understood that even teammates in the same team can have different visions and ideas from each other. We've already recommended Flying Bisons to other colleagues, and I'm aware at the beginning, their cost might sound high, but if you start with a workshop, you won't need to do things twice, so I think it's an obliged first element in development projects.

Poland

I’m a marketing director for Park of Poland, the biggest indoor waterpark in Europe that is going to be open early 2020.

The goal is to launch a new e-commerce website with ticket-selling capabilities before the park opens. The current site is a landing page regarding our project and future attractions.

Flying Bisons does UX/UI design and frontend development, and they manage the whole project.

Kamil Lenart (Project Manager, Flying Bisons) manages the project daily for us.

I knew that they were working with one of the largest banks in Poland and KFC.

The project started in March 2019 and is set to end in early 2020.

We have a clickable version of the website now. I’ll have the first feedback about the project very soon.

Their project manager has performed well. We collaborate every day with e-mails, calls, and dedicated meetings.

They are taking care of the business client. I know that, if we agree on a timeline and scope of work, they’ll deliver on time. We’re still waiting to launch the new website, but I believe that everything will work excellently.

They’re performing so well on this project that we’re looking to start another one with them for mobile app development.

I'm the founder of a company that offers nutrition-oriented catering services.

We needed to create a custom e-commerce website.

Flying Bisons has designed and developed our custom e-commerce website using several technologies, including Adobe Suite and Figma. Our buying process is complex since we offer nutrition plans, and Flying Bisons has been responsible for understanding and building our shopping experience. Flying Bisons has designed our e-commerce UI/UX and has conducted the entire development process. Flying Bisons is responsible for the site's design and has created our branding identity and brand book. The team has produced content for our website and integrated Typeform and a video thumbnail tool to play a video.

I've worked with around 15 teammates from Flying Bisons, including Kamil (CEO) and the COO. I've met Flying Bisons' entire executive team and collaborated with the media team for content production.

We started working with Flying Bisons in the first quarter of 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.

We didn't have an appropriate selling tool prior to this engagement, and Flying Bisons has delivered three consecutive versions of our website, each with an improvement. Within a four-year period, our company has grown fivefold. The team's culture promotes the delivery of high-quality products and well-documented software. Flying Bisons works following best practices, and the entire team is great to work with. Flying Bisons is a brilliant organization with an expanding team, and it's interesting to learn how a development team works and communicates. My learnings from this project will be beneficial for my company.
