The scope included an initial discovery phase, followed by style exploration and the planned creation of a design system for Quantly’s web application.

The project produced limited measurable progress. Widelab logged 68 hours and 30 minutes for the Style Exploration phase, primarily under product design activities.

Project management was poor. Although the engagement was billed on a time-and-materials basis, the required weekly progress and time reports were not provided. A final report was only submitted after we disputed the invoice, and it recorded 68 hours and 30 minutes for the Style Exploration phase.

The initial discovery discussions were structured, and the team showed an ability to explore different visual directions. The communication was generally polite and responsive at the beginning of the engagement.

Widelab could have improved in several important areas.

I’m the senior director of communication and transformation at Rezon Bio, a Polish contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in the development and manufacturing of mammalian biologics. We offer integrated solutions from cell line development to commercial drug substance and product manufacturing.

I am the CSO at Blueprint. We operate in the IT sector, providing an ecosystem for human development. Our focus is on daily, story-driven emotional intelligence for students and offering structured awareness for schools to better understand and support students earlier.

We needed user experience and visual design for the entire student experience in our new emotional intelligence and behavioral awareness initiative.

Widelab handled app designs in Figma, created a design language system, developed an AI prototype, and produced animations. Their role was focused solely on design and prototyping, with no development work involved.
