I am an Executive Brand Coach who provides private and group coaching programs for female executives and high achievers who are looking to build their personal brands, accelerate their career growth and position themselves for what’s next. I also offer corporate workshops designed to help with the retention and advancement of valued female talent.

I hired Varga Girl design to help me develop the visual branding and a new website for my business.

I was referred to Varga Girl Design by someone I trust and I hired Rachel because I felt that she would be a good partner for my needs. I was looking for help in capturing my brand visually and digitally and I wanted a website that would be the opposite of cookie cutter. I felt, from our initial conversations, that she would deliver something unique and on brand - and she did.

The stages of our project were not necessarily linear. It took me some time to get clear about my key messages and positioning and Rachel was very patient and helpful in guiding me along the way. She asked good questions and really listened to what I was trying to achieve. She really took eth time to get a sense of my style and approach and she showed me several design concepts to see what resonated with me. And then she would fine-tune them based on my feedback. Once we agreed on the overarching design, she laid out my new website and worked with me on a series of edits to finalize the site. She also walked me through how to make edits and manage some of the pages myself. She made it easy.

The initial feedback has been excellent. Specifically, I have been told that the website is clear, compelling, unique, and easy to navigate. It has been key in establishing my credibility as an executive coach. I am already getting leads from the website.

Rachel was easy to work with — she was always responsive and patient with me, especially when I delayed the site a few times over the 6 months that we worked together.

As a former Chief Marketing Officer, I have worked with many designers throughout my career but few really understand how to go beyond a logo and some brand colours in order to create a real visual system that you can apply to all your marketing activities. This is difficult to measure, given the project has just been completed and we have not yet done a public launch of the new branding. Ultimately, the new assets are definitely more professional and polished, and I believe will be highly memorable given the clever combination of two letters into one.

The project was managed like clockwork. After an initial discovery call, they provided excellent options within a week. The options absulutely nailed the request.

The scope of work focused on a strategic brand evolution rather than a full redesign. The objective was to modernize and refine the DMRI brand while preserving its established equity and positioning in the market.

The rebrand immediately elevated the perceived authority and professionalism of DMRI across all client touchpoints. Overall, the experience was extremely positive. There were a couple of minor errors in the first draft of the PowerPoint template, but they were quickly identified and immediately corrected without hesitation. Rachel was highly responsive and handled revisions efficiently and professionally. The small adjustments did not impact the overall timeline or quality of the final deliverables.

Prior to creating a new brand identity for Nellie's Varga Girl worked to develop a rebrand story to engage each audience and demonstrate the value behind the rebrand. It helped answer the question of "What does it mean for the organization and why should each audience care about a new logo after 50 years." VG helped the organization focus on the meaning behind the new logo, and that the new brand/logo it’s just words or a stylized spelling of the organization’s name.)

All our projects were delivered on time. Working with Varga Girl has been easy. During the rebrand of Nellie's we met on-line to discuss deliverables and timelines. Adjustments were made when needed (usually to met organizational issues.) Rachel also explained the process behind a rebrand in a concise manner, and with a sense of humour.

The principle designer Rachel has a design eye that is unique and allows for our brand, in the gender-based violence space, very different. She was able to create a brand that conveys strenghth and has a nod to our old logo.

Varga Girl was hired to design our company's website and establish our web presence. They also crafted a brand kit that we could utilize in all of our print and onlin materials.

We now have a fabulous, eye-catching website that really tells the story of our business. The website includes multiple touchpoints where a potential client can connect with us directly. Within the first week of launching the website on LinkedIn, we had over 2000 views.

Rachel delivered all items on time and provided multiple desiegn options to help us articulate our brand's voice. She made multiple revisions at our request and wanted to make sure that we were happy with the end result.
