UX Studio was hired to lead UX/UI design for both our (SaaS) platform and public website. We asked UX studio to provide complete UX, UI design, discovery research and evaluative tests for this project.

We aimed to disrupt the staid wire service industry by creating the first modern wire service that was designed and built from the ground up to meet the specific needs of media outreach today.

From UX studio’s side, we had two UX/UI designers and one researcher working with us. Before the launch, we scaled back on the design and concentrated on testing and customer feedback supported by the UX researcher.

UX studio has designed our website and platform end-to-end from idea, through iterations to the final pixel-perfect screens. From the research side, they have connected with over 40 professionals from the target audience bringing invaluable customer needs and insights to the table.

We hired UX Studio for a few projects-both B2B and B2C products ranging from business intelligence tools to e-commerce websites to conduct evaluative and generative research and user experience redesign.

We needed to know all our internal and external customer’s needs, and which are unmet, before investing the first dollar in development. We also wanted to make sure we delivered the user validated design to the development team. For the SaaS projects, our goal was to redesign the system to provide much more efficient, effective and pleasant usage. For the E-commerce projects, we aimed to increase sales and conversions by improving all the UX/UI aspects.

I did some initial research and conducted several interviews with UX team business dev and the UX team lead. I came across UX studio through their blog posts and then compared a few agencies until I decided to go with UX studio based on their expertise and positive reviews.

The qualitative part, in-depth user interviews, rounds of usability tests, and expert reviews to provide valuable user insights for the design process. The results were also triangulated with quantitative findings from Google Analytics, Desired Outcome mapping surveys and Opportunity Scoring, and heatmaps.

UX researchers were very proactive, responsive, and motivated. They went through details of the projects and were always ready to adapt to new circumstances effectively.

They managed to adjust to our time zone, but it would be easier if we made a fixed long-term agreement on that.

We hired UX studio to increase our activation conversion rate by improving our onboarding process, as well as the management of multiple exchange accounts associated with one same user account.

UX studio is one of the most established design firms in the world and we like the fact that they make all design decisions based on solid user research. They also happen to be more affordable than other agencies, especially those based in the US.

In order to increase our activation rate, we knew that we had to improve our onboarding process, but didn’t know what we had to change exactly. Similarly, we knew the handling of multiple accounts had to be improved but didn’t know precisely how. UX studio’s dedicated researcher tested our existing platform with new users and interviewed existing users who had dropped off to understand the root of the problem.

We worked with one designer and one researcher from UX studio. On our side, I (the CEO) was joined by our CMO and our lead developer, who collaborated closely with UX studio’s designer.

Although we haven’t yet implemented the new designs, we have been approached by multiple test participants who showed a strong interest in the platform and asked us to notify them when the new version comes out.

We were in the same time zone, so the time difference wasn’t a problem
