We needed to change our app from 2 native apps (iOS and Android) to a unified code base with Flutter. We had a very tight deadline and required a very stable highly scalable app.

We searched, interviewed and scoped with many app developers and also investigated the different unified code bases (Flutter, React etc).

We had a series of meetings and provided the team with the back end APIs as well as Figma screens.

We had up to 8 resources from senior and junior Flutter developers, QA to Project Management.

We launched about 700 screens in 4 months with very minimal bugs, ramped up an internal team to a new code base and rigorous process (that we learnt from Somnio),

They are adaptive, easy to communicate with and most of all care about the work they are doing. We could engage with everyone on the team which allowed for fast and efficient interactions rather than always going through a layer of management.

They worked in tandem with our inhouse developers and shared their knowledge. It was impressive how seamless it was between our internal team and them.

I'm the COO of Greenopia, a startup that uses proprietary research to evaluate local merchants, providing consumers with data-driven insights to make sustainable and eco-friendly purchasing decisions in a fun and effortless way.

We had a prototype web app that was built scrappily, and we wanted to get it ready for production and scale.

Somnio Software has set about building a production-ready, consumer-friendly app utilizing our database of local sustainable businesses and using the best practices that they were already familiar with. The app is available for iOS and Android. Our goal is to get the app live before Earth Day 2026.Somnio Software has built easy-to-use reels, allowing for relaxed browsing of businesses with familiar categories (e.g., food and drink, services, experiences, etc.). They have featured our businesses on a map and built a check-in feature allowing users to declare when they visit a store and leave reviews.On short notice, Somnio Software has added a new feature called Offers, which enables our first paying customers to advertise. They are now working on the next feature, an AI-powered chatbot utilizing our content.

Somnio Software provides ongoing QA and product build. The team has delivered admin workflow upgrades, including an “All Time” date range preset, pet edit form improvements, timezone fixes, and better timestamps on document upload timelines. They’ve also worked on backend performance and reliability, notably faster trip listings and fixes to requirement evaluation edge cases.Moreover, Somnio Software has improved analytics reliability, increased the pet limit to five pets for all users, and added improved post-upgrade onboarding. The team has also refreshed the admin panel, added new multi-column sorting, and added CheckPoint analytics tracking across key vet workflows. Finally, they’ve fixed Adapty webhook handling and added a backfill script for historical subscriptions.

Somnio led the end-to-end development of Mybotpal, delivering a fully functional AI chatbot app for Huawei smartwatches. Key deliverables included a front-end built in ArkTS for HarmonyOS, a back-end using FastAPI and LangGraph, integrations with key APIs for voice, GPS, and weather, and a deployment-ready infrastructure on AWS. The app supports multilingual interaction, haptic feedback, offline mode, and meetsstrict privacy and compliance standards.

The app was launched successfully on Huawei AppGallery, with all required functionalities and integrations. It supports four languages, passed all technical and compliance validations, and was delivered within the planned timeline.

They worked with a structured delivery plan and were responsive throughout the process. Demos and testing sessions allowed for fast feedback and alignment, which helped keep the project on track and avoid delays.

Their ability to quickly adapt to technical and administrative challenges, especially while working with a new platform like Huawei’s AppGallery. The collaboration was fluid, and their technical execution was reliable.

So far, we haven’t found any areas for improvement. We’ve been very satisfied with the way the team works, their responsiveness, and the overall collaboration throughout the project.
