The project involved modernizing and rebuilding our online registration and signup platform to improve reliability, maintainability, and long-term scalability. The existing system had grown over time and required significant refactoring to better support current operations and future enhancements.

The project is still in progress, but we have already seen measurable signs of success. Simform completed a review of the existing platform, identified key areas needing refactoring, assigned a full development and QA team, and began rebuilding the system with a stronger frontend and backend structure.

Simform's project management has been organized and collaborative throughout the engagement. The team communicates regularly, provides clear updates on progress, and is proactive in identifying questions, risks, or dependencies that could affect timelines.

What impresses us most is Simform's willingness to invest time in understanding the bigger picture behind our project. Rather than simply implementing requested features, they worked to understand our workflows, operational needs, and long-term goals before proposing solutions.

One area that could be strengthened is end-user documentation and knowledge transfer. Simform has been very willing to provide live demonstrations and walkthroughs of the system, which have been helpful. However, for a platform that will ultimately be used and supported by a broader team, more detailed written documentation, recorded tutorials, or role-specific user guides would make onboarding and long-term adoption easier.

We use Simform for software development projects, including Python back-end and JavaScript front-end work. Simform has been involved in deploying solutions on AWS, using Lambda functions, ECS, RDS, and Terraform. They also converted a standalone web app into a desktop app using Electron. We've implemented Python, JavaScript, and R, used AWS deployment, and converted apps for Windows desktop with Electron, incorporating elements like AI and scientific computing.

We really appreciate the level of expertise and skill set that Simform offers, especially in Python and JavaScript front end. The relatively high level of expertise was crucial for our needs, particularly for senior developer level tasks.

We value the self-direction and autonomy of the Simform team. They work closely with us in setting directions and handling tasks but also display a strong sense of independence and synergy. Simfrom created a custom mobile app for both Play Store and the App Store. This allowed members to schedule sessions with our highly technical policies, see results, set goals, follow nutrition courses we have created, and perform workouts digitally. Our company has been building our own software for the past 13 years, and we just started working with Simform in the last 6 months.

I had Himanshu Upadhyay as my project manager. He did an excellent job on the project. Very responsive, even from 1/2 a world away.
