The scope of work focused on building a multilingual wellness web platform using a premium Next.js template as the technical foundation. Onix Systems handled the setup and customization of the template, frontend and backend development, CMS integration, and overall technical architecture based on a headless approach with Next.js.

The project resulted in a fully functional multilingual web platform built on Next.js, ready for production use and further scaling.

Project management was well organized and transparent throughout the entire collaboration. We worked with Roman as our project manager, and he did a great job coordinating the team, keeping everything structured, and ensuring clear communication at all times.

Unfortunately, our experience with Onix Systems was deeply disappointing and frustrating. We entrusted them with developing our application, but the engagement fell short in nearly every critical aspect. Core stability goals were never met, the product was riddled with issues, and even basic functionalities were either broken or unreliable. Developers frequently lacked the technical expertise needed, and key requirements were misunderstood or ignored entirely. The project never reached a point where we could confidently deploy the product as expected:

Our experience with Onix Systems was unfortunately very poor, marked by instability, miscommunication, and unprofessional conduct. Despite initial promises and positive first impressions, the engagement failed to meet our expectations on several critical fronts. One important feature was under development for over three months with no progress updates — only to later be delayed by another six months because the developer did not understand the requirements and failed to raise any concerns. This level of delay and lack of ownership was unacceptable. The time lost, quality issues, and need to switch to another team significantly offset any cost savings. In retrospect, we would have preferred to pay more for a competent, reliable team rather than try to recover from the setbacks this engagement caused:

Misleading updates and dishonest conduct from the project manager eroded trust entirely. We had to switch teams midway through the project, which cost us significant time and resources. Based on this, we cannot recommend them to others. Communication was inconsistent, developers were frequently reshuffled, and dishonesty from the project manager — including misrepresenting staff availability — made collaboration impossible. We ultimately had to abandon the engagement and move the entire project elsewhere. We do not recommend them.
