Oak's Lab helped create our MVP. A lot went into the creation of our MVP, which also included assistance with interviewing potential beta users.

Upon completion of the MVP, we had 5 firms / beta users using our software. Additionally, we are in process of adding more beta users.

Generally speaking, Oak's Lab delivered everything on time. To the extent that there were slight delays, they communicated effectively on why the delays occurred and the new expected timeline. Overall, they overcommunicated and were splendid to work with!

What I found most impressive about OAKS LAB was their ability to be a thought partner. Not only are they amazing at writing code, but they will provide perspective on potential business decisions, which I thought was very helpful!

I'm the CEO and founder of a B2B2C platform that connects businesses, academic institutions, and individuals on a common network to interact with one another and share information.

I hired OAKS LAB to help me build the MVP of my software platform.

First, we had a number of collaboration sessions with OAKS LAB for them to dive deeper into what I was trying to build, why I was trying to build it, and the type of experience I wanted to deliver to the end customer. We really unpacked the full vision of the solution so that we could then break it down into small, individual components before start building it.As for the technology stack, OAKS LAB used TypeScript as the main programming language. We also based the solution on the Google Cloud Platform and used React Native for mobile app development. Overall, they implemented quite a few solutions.

We worked with a project manager, a design lead, and a technical lead. The technical lead spent half of the time on the engineering side and the other half on leading the technical effort and defining the next steps. We also worked with a web engineer, a mobile engineer, and a QA engineer. Other teammates from OAKS LAB joined the project in a part-time capacity, such as the head of engineering, to make sure everything was good.

They came through a personal referral.

We worked together from April–August 2024. We might still have some ongoing work, but the majority of the project has been completed.

OAKS LAB's work met our expectations.

OAKS LAB delivered on time and on budget, and they communicated well with us. We used Jira, Slack, Google Docs, and email to collaborate — there were quite a few tools involved.

I was looking to work with a partner and team experienced enough to deal with the complex digital product that I was developing. The product is a digital platform that simplifies the administrative process after someone from your family passes away unexpectedly. The platform aims to automatize and ease the bureaucratic burden that a person has to deal with when a relative passes away. Our product is complex and highly focused on security with different layers. The platform focuses on connecting users with professionals such as government consultants and mental health professionals.

OAKS LAB supports the development of our web platform and will build a mobile app in the second release. OAKS LAB is my external development team and has helped create the product's user journey, MVP's scoping, and go-to-market strategy. The team has conducted in-depth interviews with users and designed and optimized the strategy of our Meta and Google marketing campaigns currently running in the US. OAKS LAB does comprehensive research and analyses competitors. The team also looks deeper into competitors' security and enables me to collaborate with security third parties. The team uses Java, Python, and AI architecture to build my MVP.

We began working with OAKS LAB in May 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

Thanks to OAKS LAB, I now have good traction and have negotiated with investors, which I lacked before. We're pivoting to MVP scoping, which is very important after the market validation and was my key objective for this cooperation. The team runs a successful product, and I'm very happy with our MVP scope. OAKS LAB is patient with me. The team's professionalism is high, and I'm very happy. OAKS LAB has more on their mind than I have, providing an external point of view of the project. Each teammate does very well at different tasks.

OAKS LAB's most impressive quality is their dedication to work. I can see that they really believe in the product and want to make it successful. OAKS LAB shares our drive for success. When I've worked with other agencies, I've felt that some teammates just want to do their job and receive an invoice. With OAKS LAB, every day, I sense that the team believes they can help me make the product successful.

I suggest being transparent with OAKS LAB. Believe in your product even though you get bad results or things don't go as you want during the process. Don't lose yourself in the middle of the development process because if you believe in your product, it will come true.

Moreover, they're typically on time. although their team is often based in Europe, they work the US hours to help us build our products.

OAK'S LAB is very flexible, which is great for startups. They can up and downsize their team and understand when paying a bill is late by a few days. Basically, they understand the startup hustle and grind and are willing to work with them, which is great. I truly appreciate their flexibility.

The fact that we're working with OAK'S LAB for a second time proves that we really like their work. They've done a nice job of addressing feedback, so there's nothing I would have them change.

Talk to multiple firms, compare costs, and ensure to know your budget in advance. OAK'S LAB is not an inexpensive firm. They do super high-quality work, so they're not cheap. For me, they were the right balance of flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and work quality.
