The app features a dedicated diabetes mode, AI-generated meal plans and recipes, water tracking, mood/energy check-ins, streaks, and achievements. BiteSight runs on a freemium model with 1 free AI log per day and a Premium tier at $6.67/month. Built with Flutter, Firebase, and Gemini for food analysis.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The scope of work covered social media advertising management across six platforms: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. The package included up to 3 ad campaigns with a maximum of 12 ads, 2 UGC videos per quarter featuring paid actors, static ad creatives, performance-based ad optimization, up to 2 landing pages, and A/B split testing. The monthly ad spend budget of $1,000+ was separate from the $1,900/month management fee. The stated launch time was 15 to 20 business days from the start date.Services also included ad creation and development, daily campaign monitoring Monday through Friday, and ongoing optimization to improve results. LYFE committed to a Week 1 timeline covering client discovery, a detailed questionnaire, a kickoff call, campaign setup including analytics and pixel tracking, and campaign development. By Week 2, finalized deliverables were to be submitted for review, and upon approval, the campaign would go live within 2 business days with daily management and routine updates thereafter.
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The campaigns they ran performed worse than my organic results prior to hiring them. App downloads and subscriber conversions both declined during the engagement. The UGC videos produced were low quality and when I requested changes, they demanded additional payment rather than revising under the existing contract. Across three months and over $5,000 in total charges, there was roughly two weeks of actual work done. No meaningful improvement in any KPI — no increase in downloads, no increase in paid subscribers, no positive ROAS. The net result was negative: worse performance than before I hired them, with money lost on both management fees and wasted ad spend.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Deliverables were late from the start. The onboarding call was delayed well beyond the contractual start date, and the kickoff call was pushed out even further. When deliverables eventually came, they were low quality and requesting changes was met with demands for additional payment. Communication was one-directional — my account manager was unresponsive to concerns and offered no solutions when issues were raised. There was no proactive support, no strategic guidance, and no effort to address underperformance. When I expressed frustration about being charged multiple times with little to show for it, there was no urgency or accountability. They simply pointed to the contract terms rather than trying to resolve anything.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Nothing. There was nothing impressive or unique about working with them. The sales pitch before signing was polished and convincing, but that's where the effort ended. Once the contract was signed and payments started, the quality of work, communication, and support dropped immediately. The only thing unique about this company is how heavily their contract protects them while offering almost nothing in return for the client.
Are there any areas for improvement or something LYFE Marketing could have done differently?
Everything. They need to actually deliver the work they promise within the timelines they set. They need to stop charging clients while sitting in endless setup mode. The UGC content quality needs a complete overhaul and revisions should be included without extra charges. Their account managers need to actually support clients instead of going silent when problems arise. The contract terms need to be fair to both parties instead of being designed to trap clients into paying regardless of whether any real work gets done. Most importantly, they need to stop treating the signed contract as a guaranteed revenue stream and start treating it as an obligation to deliver results.
