Lionwood is developing a custom software platform for data collection. They are developing the software from our idea and include front and back end database development. The software is designed to be used by paying clients of our consulting practice.

We are still in development, but they have met all planned milestones for the development. We have not seen any delays or technical problems that they could not overcome.

We migrated our legacy desktop fat client applications to modern web-based applications powered by APIs. Lionwood played a key role in supporting this transformation. Their involvement included defining use cases for the user interfaces, redesigning the underlying data model, and jointly developing the backend together with our in-house development team.

By leveraging Lionwood’s additional resources and extensive expertise in cloud-based solutions, we were able to significantly reduce development time and accelerate the delivery of the new platform.

Project management and follow-up were excellent. Weekly progress meetings were held to review achievements, address challenges, and define new milestones. We hired the team to support and improve our existing web application built with Angular and .NET. The application already existed when the collaboration started, but we needed ongoing development, infrastructure improvements, and implementation of new features as the platform continued to grow. One of the main deliverables was the integration with SeaRates, which allowed our customers to track container locations directly from the platform. The team also implemented invoice generation functionality and added the ability to download invoices and see their status for each item. In addition, they improved the shipment visibility experience by allowing users to see which container a vehicle is assigned to and track its current location. On the infrastructure side, they migrated the entire application to a more powerful server and configured all required services and processes. The team also refactored significant parts of the codebase and implemented pagination across large datasets. Initially, the platform worked fine with smaller amounts of data, but performance became an issue as the number of lots increased. These improvements noticeably enhanced both performance and usability.

The improvements had a clear impact on the platform’s stability and performance. After the refactoring and pagination implementation, the application became much faster and easier to use when handling large amounts of data. The SeaRates integration significantly improved transparency for our customers because they could track container locations in real time directly from the system instead of relying on manual updates. The invoice generation functionality also simplified internal workflows by allowing users to instantly generate, view, and download invoices. The server migration improved the overall reliability of the platform and helped eliminate performance bottlenecks we experienced previously.

Overall, the collaboration felt reliable, organized, and partnership-oriented.

The project was a healthcare kiosk platform designed for fast patient consultations in clinics in the UK and globally. The scope included development and ongoing enhancement of a desktop application deployed on large clinic screens, integration with various medical peripheral devices (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.), and secure transmission of collected patient data into existing clinic medical systems.

The project successfully delivered a working end-to-end patient intake solution that significantly streamlined the consultation process in clinics. Lionwoood made a significant contribution to the project, as their specialist was involved in integrating new peripheral devices, creating new ways for patients to log in to the system, including NFC cards. Some devices, due to their large size, had to be connected remotely, which was quite a difficult task. They engineer worked not only on the desktop application, but also on the frontend and backend of the internal system for managing all kiosks

Project management was generally solid and responsive. Deliverables were provided within agreed timelines

Their ability to quickly ramp up and integrate into an ongoing medical project without heavy onboarding overhead. The developer was technically strong in .NET and was able to contribute to core backend tasks with minimal supervision.

Lionwood designed and developed an integrated digital platform aimed to streamline administrative, operational, and clinical workflows within a healthcare facility. A core module of the system enables efficient management and booking of rooms, beds, and medical procedures.

The main aim was to roll out the registration module for the patient portal, with the possibility of adjusting the application and users from the administrator side (working application in one specific clinic)
