I'm the founder of a company that offers cashback for fandom and gamers.

We needed help building a cashback app from scratch. We also needed help navigating the app store requirements and security.

Lampa Software developed our app from scratch. The team also helped us navigate the app store requirements and security. The main deliverables were a working app, the UI/UX design files, the GitHub code, the backend development work on Firebase, and project management work. I helped with some UI/UX design, but Lampa Software handled that for the most part.

I found Lampa Software through Clutch and SEO on their part. Specifically, they had a blog post that covered exactly the type of service I needed. Then, I used Clutch to see how others reviewed them. I chose Lampa Software because they had direct experience in developing cashback apps.

We worked together from June–August 2025.

We got a working app and a UI/UX design process that I had direct access to along the way on Figma. As a designer myself, the app was built beautifully.

We communicated via email and Slack. Lampa Software delivered on time. Whenever we hit a roadblock (usually on my end), the team followed up consistently. The project manager was good at following up as well.

The very beginning of the project had a slow ramp-up as Lampa Software was building the team. However, it was very smooth afterward.

I'm the director of engineering at Pacaso. We're the leading co-ownership marketplace for buying, owning, and selling a luxury vacation home. We offer fully managed LLC co-ownership.

We were looking to build a new feature to bring AI concierge chat functionality into our owner app. Owners can use this feature to get immediate answers to their questions and concerns while providing escalation to a real person if necessary.

Lampa Software developed the AI concierge chat feature for our Android and iOS app. They integrated the app with a gRPC chat server to stream messages and responses with an AI bot. Additionally, they integrated Salesforce in-app chat SDK for escalations.

We worked with two teammates from Lampa Software.

Our CTO found Lampa Software through an online search. We chose them over other options because their expertise, professionalism, fast response times, and cost were all attractive. Additionally, they were willing to give us an opportunity to utilize a coding exercise with their developer to verify their skills before confirming.

We worked together from March–June 2025.

The outcome was a relatively solid concierge chat implementation in our apps. The code quality was reasonably high given the timeframe, but it required some refactoring and fixes from our internal team to make it truly production-ready. I'm still confident that, were it not for engaging with Lampa Software on this project, we wouldn't have been able to build this feature in parallel with the other high-priority features our own team was working on.

Project management was the only area that could've been improved. Lampa Software was very responsive and receptive to feedback, and they worked diligently on the project to get it over the finish line. However, the process along the way came with periods of uncertainty. At times, it was difficult to get visibility into their progress or firm milestone commitments leading up to the final launch. We use JIRA for tracking work, but they had difficulty keeping it updated to reflect their progress.

Lampa Software's ability to work quickly within our codebase following established patterns to produce high-quality code was impressive. They did all of this with very little hand-holding or guidance from our internal team.

Lampa Software could've utilized JIRA better to provide us with more visibility into their progress.

The scope of work included the development of an Admin Panel designed to manage customers’ eclectic infrastructure in a centralized and efficient way. The platform allows administrators to monitor, control, and optimize a wide range of systems and components from a single interface.

We improved operational efficiency and increased system reliability. Automated testing helped ensure stability and minimize bugs in production. The well-structured architecture allowed the platform to support additional features and systems without major rework. Also, the implementation of a design system ensured a unified and intuitive user experience across the platform.

The project management was well-structured and efficient. Communication was primarily handled via Slack and Google Meet. A few syncs per week were more than enough to keep everything on track and ensure a smooth development process.
