Loxie is an AI-powered mobile app that helps people remember what they learn, using learning science techniques in just minutes a day.

We needed to build a mobile app for iOS and Android.

HotShots Labs has built the app's frontend and backend from the ground up. The team has handled everything aside from content generation and marketing. This includes frontend design and development, user authentication, subscription management, email and in-app notifications, algorithmic logic to determine content delivery, a custom database, and analytics configuration.

We literally just launched a week ago, so all I have so far are app store reviews (4.7 stars). We had major milestones planned throughout the project. One was particularly aggressive: launching an essentially fully functional beta within 90 days, which we did.

HotShots Labs is always communicative. We align on the work to be done on Mondays, communicate during the week, and then receive a summary of the work completed on Fridays with a preview of what will be done the following week. The team is collaborative and open to adjusting their approach to project management to better suit my needs. They’re consistently on time. Any time the timelines need to be adjusted based on changes we decide to make, they’re clear about the impact on the timeline and set realistic expectations.

I appreciate HotShots Labs's sincere desire to bring my project to life combined with the way they approach the project. They bring their skills, brains, and passion to it. I'm the founder of Quantum Body, a wellness app that helps users stay aligned, energized, and connected through simple, meditative daily practices.

We needed a reliable development partner who could turn a complex, multi-feature wellness concept into a stable, user-friendly mobile app for both iOS and Android. The challenge was translating a detailed vision and custom UX into a scalable, cross-platform product while ensuring performance, usability, and a smooth app store launch.

HotShots Labs has been responsible for the full mobile app development and technical implementation of Quantum Body across iOS and Android using Flutter. They worked closely with our designer to translate the approved UX/UI into a fully functional product and handled all core engineering, testing, and launch support. Their scope included building the app, implementing all functionality, conducting QA and performance testing, setting up and submitting to both app stores, and providing complete handoff documentation with all technical details and access information. The main deliverable has been a live, production-ready mobile app for both platforms, built to scale and support future features.The project moved from concept to live publication and now serves as the foundation for our growing digital wellness ecosystem.
