I work as a Head of Digital Operations for an HR company providing an online staffing platform for temporary workers.

We were looking for rapid product innovation. As we were expecting significant growth, we needed to modernise our solution’s architecture and technology with a view of gaining flexible system framework.

We engaged in initial discussions which led to Future Processing formulating their recommendations. There was a series of meetings and short workshops at the beginning. We liked their ideas, and so the project kicked off with a few months’ long transition from our previous software supplier.

The team’s idea was to clean up, stabilise and digitally transform the system through redesigning existing processes and refactoring the code. Future Processing team has worked alongside our in-house Tech and Product Teams on the design of new features and system upgrades. To avoid high costs associated with changing the existing monolithic application, the team migrated it to a microservices ecosystem. They also added automated testing and deployment to the process. Key technologies: .NET, Azure, Xamarin, Microservices, SQL.

At peak times we had three teams with Future Processing - two development teams and one data team, with around 20 engineers in total. Roles included Scrum masters, Architects, Developers, Data (BI) Engineers and a Business Analyst. This team composition eased the management of day-to-day operations, supported our Product Team, delivered needed features, and provides clear high - quality data which is so valuable in making business decisions. On the business side, Future Processing assigned a dedicated Client Engagement Managers to facilitate strategic planning of the partnership.

The collaboration has led to a digital transformation of our existing processes. The team delivered continuous and seamless product innovation and delivered it with short time to market. Future Processing were operationally agile, allowing us to rapidly scale the team up and down and adjust its competences to changing requirements.

Our day-to-day work has been based on flexibility and constant flow of information between us and Future Processing. We have enjoyed our engagement with Future Processing and together we’ve made a well-working, proactive team of experts who regularly met, attended workshops together and shared a similar work ethic. We engaged Future Processing to provide an independent, expert assessment of the technical security posture of our platform. The objective was to validate that our security controls and practices meet a high standard, identify any improvement opportunities, and give us clear, actionable recommendations so we can continuously strengthen our overall security baseline.

Future Processing supported us by conducting an independent technical security audit of our platform. The audit covered several key components, including internal operational tooling, our cloud infrastructure setup, customer-facing online tools, and the interfaces exposed via our APIs. The primary deliverable was a detailed audit report summarizing the findings and providing practical recommendations to strengthen security where needed.

We have a combined project team where the employees of future processing take over dedicated tasks and responsibilities within the project. As all team members they need to deliver the workpackages based on our development process. This includes amongst others, Requirementsengeneering, Smart Contract development, SW-Design, Quality assurance.

All major milestones achieved so far - progress visible in the current version of the product.

We did not have a dedicated project manager from future processing and are running in a mutual agile setup. Some of the Future Processing employees took over feature / component responsibility. Overall, we are very satisfied with the deliverables.
