The scope of work with Fingent covers a comprehensive Discovery and Design (D&D) phase aimed at transforming Mosora’s concept for an insurance quote estimate app into a fully defined, investor-ready product plan. Scope Overview:

The project resulted in a detailed Discovery and Design report, an interactive prototype of the insurance quote app, and validated technical and financial feasibility. It also produced a market research and go-to-market strategy, along with investor-ready materials to support funding and partnership opportunities.

My name is Corey Gottlieb and I am the CEO and Founder of Replika Software Inc. Replika is a SaaS company serving the retail industry and empowering brands around the world to create new revenue streams through social / affiliate selling.

The team at Fingent has morphed several ways on our behalf due to the changing landscape of our own business. The Fingent team is deep, knowledgeable and flexible and have accommodated each of our requests over the last several years.

We are still engaged with Fingent and work with them daily. Currently, they are the largest team of programmers working on our platform. There were times where we thought we could build everything in-house, but we have never left Fingent. Now, they are our programming team.

As a non programmer, I would always want things done faster and timelines shorter. However, I have come to appreciate the level of detail in their planning, execution, testing and ultimately "go live" process.

Always have programming expertise in house so you can utilize the talents of an trusted outside company. Be fair with them and set expectations & timelines together. Ultimately, it is a CEO's responsibility to ensure our product is the best it can possibly be so be sure to choose your programming partners wisely.

I am the founder of Replika Software LLC, a clienteling, curation, and social media tool that enables brands to equip their salespeople via social media and mobile strategies.

We hired Fingent to develop our flagship software. We needed desktop and mobile implementation for our mobile curation and sales solution with a full set of features.

Basically, we wanted to move our web-based solution to mobile devices to help our users stay on top of their SEO efforts wherever they are. Our business had extensive functionality requirements, and the solution had to be simple and easily integrated for our clients. The platform also needed a range of tools and additional admin systems.

After a failed experience with our first development firm, our business wasn’t making progress. We began searching for a high-quality provider that could meet our needs, appreciate our vision, and bring our goals to life. We googled the top software development firms and discovered Fingent. After researching their background, we called their references and received stellar reports about their abilities.

We've built out the MVP [minimum viable product] successfully.

We needed the MVP to be developed within 6 months, and Fingent kept the process going smoothly.

About 14 developers worked on our software. Fingent designed and developed our desktop and mobile applications. Their work involved UI/UX design, development, quality assurance [QA], and maintenance.

Many people used our product in a preliminary mode, which worked well. We're very pleased with the results. Throughout the process, Fingent was genuinely reliable, produced superior work, and proactively sought to refine the end-user experience as much as possible, which increased the software’s competitive advantage.

Fingent understood our requirements quickly and provided some helpful insight about features that should be prioritized within the application. They covered the scope as agreed and kept to our schedule. Their communication was excellent and vital to the project’s success. The team adjusted their workflow to accommodate business hours in our time zone.

The project went according to plan in terms of timeline and budget. Fingent was flexible and easy to work with. They clearly know what they are doing and have a flexible approach to development. We took part in a planning stage before they started work, which helped us all remain organized. Fingent was receptive to our feedback and quickly produced testable updates. They also provided detailed documentation for processes and troubleshooting, which has been very helpful.

We're a nonprofit organization that services immigrants and refugees in the US. Our biggest goal is to ensure that immigrants from all locations, regardless of legality, can lead a more dignified life in the US.

Part of the UC Resource Center website is a community resource directory that we started last year. It’s a directory of resources across the US. We’re trying to identify resources in every county that are low-cost or free for youth and sponsors to access for help. Our organization has caseworkers who work with these families and create resource lists of helpful resources in their communities. Each caseworker originally did this independently, so we decided we wanted to centralize this. We had a template of our existing website that was slow and had a lot of issues.

Fingent designed and developed our website. They created a directory website compatible with mobile devices. We provided our template to understand the functionality we were looking for, and they built it based on what we told them we were looking for. They created mock-ups to show us what was possible regarding revamping the directory. They put together a blueprint for it. They used PHP, AngularJS, and JavaScript.

We worked with Stephen, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing; Ravi, VP of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing; Meera, Business Analyst; Kiran, Associate Project Manager; and Bimal, Project Coordinator and Analyst.

We found them through a Google search. My web developer provided a list of possible vendors, and Fingent was on that list. The biggest reason to go with them is their outstanding communication. They seemed on point, and there weren't any issues in terms of actually getting it done.

We spent $46,200.

We worked together from November 2024–February 2025.

We don’t have any metrics because we couldn’t complete the project.

Project management was 10/10. We used OpenProject to maintain the project. We had two weekly working meetings through Zoom and used email in between. They were completely outstanding in every aspect, including communication and even cost. They helped to ensure that it was affordable for us.

I want to give a shout-out to three teammates: Meera was outstanding in communicating with us during our meetings. Kiran and Stephen were excellent at explaining the project to us.

Their resourcefulness was impressive. They did an outstanding job taking our requests as a nonprofit with a limited budget and finding ways to make them work. They sent proposals to us saying we could try this, and it would be cheaper. Overall, their project management and professionalism were outstanding.

I don’t have anything for them to improve.

It’s important to have a vision for what you’re looking for and share it with them upfront; even if it's absurd or crazy, they will try to find a way to make it work. Don’t limit your dreams when you’re trying to create something with them as a partner.

I’m a consultant at a cybersecurity company.

We wanted to make our training content for all our employees more interactive and easier to understand. We tried to avoid going through many presentations, slides, or text, wanting to make the training content simpler, interactive, and more convenient.

Fingent helped us develop an interactive training module. We started with a presentation during the discovery phase, and they understood the various training requirements. Fingent also understood the kind of training content we had at the moment.

We worked with a project manager and a business representative, and there were about 10 individuals behind the scenes.

We went out in the market, and Fingent provided us with a good interactive method for completing the training.

We worked together from July 2024 to January 2025, a 6-month period.

The acceptance of the content that Fingent developed is a testimony that the output was fantastic. It was a creative project, and there was no precedence to it. It was a qualitative measure. They were able to meet our expectations.

They used several project management tools. Although we had some challenges, the project was completed within the timeline. We communicated through all modes.

I want to give a shout-out to Martin and Harikrishna. They were great.

They were very cooperative, understood our issues and what we wanted, were clear-headed, and put in relentless effort to ensure they always met our expectations.

We had clarity at the beginning, but it got disturbed in between. There was always a scope for improvement, and when the improvement kicked in, it went all around the park. They could have organized it a little better.

Clearly set out your objectives with them. Ensure you're clear about the why, the requirements, and the planning stage. Stick to the timelines.

I work for The Christian Broadcasting Network, a nonprofit broadcasting company based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia. We primarily broadcast famous programs like The 700 Club and CBN News. We also have a kids-specific program called Superbook to teach children about the Bible using storytelling and different animations.I work as a project manager within the organization, focusing on the IT side of our show Superbook, so I specifically oversee Superbook's website and app development.

We have a good IT team in-house. However, we didn't have the expertise for app development when we started looking into the Superbook app development project. Therefore, we decided to look for external resources who could help us out.

Many years ago, Fingent helped us develop our first app for Superbook, an iOS and Android MVP app. About one or two years ago, this app became somewhat obsolete. Thus, we've been working with Fingent again to complete our full iOS and Android app. We've also asked them to build our website for Superbook. The technology stack used has included React and Drupal.For these projects, the design is done by us. However, Fingent has demonstrated a very heavy hand in guiding us through industry standards and recommending best practices, ultimately helping our designers think more holistically and better about end users.

Fingent has a very large team that keeps evolving. At any given time, we work with 20–25 teammates, including React developers, Drupal developers, microservices engineers, project managers, architects, and numerous QA testers.

When we were looking for external resources, we came across Fingent. However, this happened before I joined the organization, so I'm not sure how it happened.

We’ve been working together since March 2009. Ours has been a long-standing partnership.

We don't have any service providers other than Fingent working on our Superbook app. Thanks to them and the support they've given us, our app is one of the top Christian Bible apps in the App Store. Currently, we have about 1.5 million active users, which is a great number for us.

All of our web and mobile app development projects are agile and scrum projects, so deliverables are decided beforehand. We get deliverables from Fingent at the end of every sprint cycle. We also keep getting regular build test tools with the new features promised during the sprint. Therefore, Fingent is meeting the sprint goals over and over again, allowing us to stand out in front of our user base.Fingent has great project managers internally who work well not only during our collaboration or our meetings because it's clear that their teams are always aligned. There's always a clear understanding of what they'll deliver, and they also communicate clearly.We have transparent and free communication with the developers and resources, which is great. There's no waiting time, and everyone gets to see the conversation, so nothing happens behind the doors. All that has been very good for us. We use Zoom and Jira to collaborate.

Fingent has been an amazing team, and the support we've received from them has been outstanding. They're all invested in our success. Working with external teams can always be tricky. However, Fingent's work culture and resource onboarding processes are excellent. We're in Virginia Beach, and they're in India. Still, they're always available. I've never experienced a long response time despite the time difference, which is commendable.We've worked with other service providers on other mobile apps that aren't under my supervision. Some of the things that make Fingent stand out are their dependability and expertise. Fingent delivers what they promise, indicating excellent consistency.We started working together on one project, and our engagement has led to other projects. One of these projects has been the web development one, which has been very big. Given that our organization has seen their expertise, we're now considering Fingent for other projects.Overall, they've been very encouraging, and we've learned a lot from them. I'm sure that they've also learned from us; it's a mutual relationship.

I can't think of anything Fingent could improve on. We let them know about any issues we have, and they address them immediately.

Ensure transparent communication and provide them with clear requirements from the beginning. Clear requirements will give them the freedom to do their best based on your needs.
