I’m the founder of a digital product studio. We generally work with early- and growth-stage startups to help them accelerate their product development efforts by providing them with product strategy, design, engineering, and growth services. On the engineering side, we provide them with mobile, frontend, backend, and web development.

Exyte has been a long-term partner of ours for our staff augmentation needs.

Exyte provides us with trusted resources to work on the various mobile development projects we have with our clients. Initially, we went through a discovery process, during which we were introduced to their team and had a conversation about our needs and their capabilities.

We’ve worked with around 6–7 different teammates from Exyte. Although the number of resources they provide us with has varied over the years, we’ve consistently worked with at least one or two members of their team. Although we don’t have a project manager assigned to our projects, one of their more senior resources has been heavily involved in our projects, acting as the go-to person for communication.

We were referred to Exyte. One of our colleagues had been working on a different project with them.

We’ve spent around $500,000.

We’ve been working with Exyte for around four years. We started working together around October 2019.

Exyte has been an excellent partner. Due to their reliability, flexibility, and ability to scale up and down their resources over the years, their team has saved us a lot of time in recruiting. They’ve also given us peace of mind because we know that when we have upcoming projects, we’ll be able to augment our staff with Exyte as needed.

Exyte has performed very well. When we first started working together, the integration of their resources into our team was very easy and seamless. Since then, they’ve been fantastic. We use Jira for project management and Slack for asynchronous communication between project teams. Additionally, I’ve communicated with Igor (CEO) over email.

Exyte is a fantastic team, so we value our partnership with them a lot.

I can’t think of any constructive feedback for Exyte. If we’ve ever had an issue, which I don’t remember, they’ve certainly been quick to respond and address the issue. I have nothing but great things to say about them.

Exyte is fantastic, so as long as you communicate your expectations clearly, the engagement should be smooth sailing.

I’m the founder of a mobile application. Our product is a social media platform where users can find friends or other people to attend events, mainly EDM concerts or events in the EDM music scene. We figured the EDM community would be stronger in the social media aspect.

We needed to develop our iOS application.

We initially gave Exyte the idea of what we were trying to do and a wireframe. We had a designer, so we did the design and frontend, and Exyte had to code the rest.

We only worked with the two founders. In terms of development, we didn’t have anyone else engaging in development.

We spent $50,000.

We began working with them in October 2023 and ended production in May 2024.

The app isn’t launched yet. We’re doing a soft launch among our friends to see how the app is received. We also want to see if the design needs to be tweaked, so we’re doing some iteration by doing that soft launch. Then, we might resume production depending on how things go.

They were in line with both time and budget.

The founders were both responsive and helpful. They’d done projects before, so they were able to provide strong insights into certain directional ideas we had in a meeting. They were both insightful about whether we should proceed with this.

From my outside point of view, everything proceeded smoothly and worked well.

No, there wasn’t anything to improve. They handled everything quite well.

Work in tandem with them. We had our own designer, so the communication between the designer and Exyte was slightly off. Other than that, everything was fine.

I’m the co-founder and CTO of a software company focused on blockchain, VR, and AI that works with brands and artists to build cutting-edge projects. We’ve been running for two years and have worked with a big-name company.

A client wanted to start indexing different blockchains together. We had built the prototype ourselves, but the client requested more blockchain platforms and wanted to invest in an iOS application. Since we don’t have iOS expertise, we hired Exyte to build the app and integrate it with Wallex.

Exyte provided us with mobile app development. The team built a Wallex-integrated iOS app that works as a cryptographic wallet where users can see their transactions and activity listings across different blockchains.

We worked with Nick (TA Lead) and one other teammate from Exyte.

I had worked with them on another blockchain project involving Vermont cannabis regulations tracking. That project and our collaboration were successful, so I knew they would be a good partner for this project. Originally, I found Exyte four years ago through a friend who went to college with part of the team.

We spent around $200,000.

We worked together from around January 2022–January 2023.

Exyte worked very diligently alongside us and excelled at providing mobile development expertise; they didn’t see us as simply a way to make money per hour. Since blockchain technologies are in an early stage, we encountered bugs. However, Exyte’s testing was very thorough and caught the bugs before we did. The team reviewed the whole app before sending it to us and our end client.

Since we were working with new technology and needed much custom coding, the deadline was extended, partly due to us missing deadlines on our side. Additionally, the client added more features to the scope along the way. Exyte demonstrated a sense of urgency to meet the deadline, which was super helpful for us.

I was impressed with Exyte’s diligence and willingness to become a team member to us. I also appreciated them being upfront about everything — they had good communication.

They could work on an in-house strategy. Although the price was high for us and low for the client, that’s not on Exyte.

Be upfront and don’t try to stretch the deadline or introduce features creep without Exyte’s knowledge. For them to be effective, you should be clear, come to the table with the full features, and try not to deviate too far from them.

I'm an executive at an IT solutions company.

Exyte has been our partner for about 15 years in custom software development.

Exyte has been helping us with several custom software development projects. We’ve worked together on an individual development plan (IDP) on an old programming language called Cobol, which has included creating specific extensions. In addition, they’ve helped us design the system's UI and the presentation for integrated functions in our products, like code coverage and profiling.

We work with 1–6 members of Exyte’s team, including Yuri (CTO) and their development team — everything depends on the project.

We started working together in January 2013, and the engagement is ongoing.

Exyte does everything well, but I’ve been impressed by the quality of their work and their professionalism.

I am COO of a software products company that offers high tech products and solutions in the B2B space.

Our products & offerings are based out of a framework built atop Apple’s technologies. The last couple of years has seen Apple introduce some significant, dramatic shifts in its platform and we have been on a mission to re-align our frameworks and products with these shifts.

Since we consider some of the changes in Apple’s platform to be paradigm shifts, we needed to engage with a team that deeply understood both worlds, old and new. We didn’t want someone to simply recode some of our existing ObjectiveC code to Swift, we needed someone who could understand our code and re-think it in the best possible way using the newer tech.

The scope of work revolved around re-engineering our core product and framework to use Swift, SwiftUI, Combine and a bunch of new technologies introduced by Apple in a staggered approach.

A project manager and three senior iOS developer were assigned to our project.

I can confidently say that Exyte has exceeded our expectations in all aspects important to us. Not only have they been able to deliver on the parts that were explicitly assigned to them, they have been able to augment our vision and roadmap with new ideas that we hadn’t thought to be possible.

They maintained extremely clear, transparent & punctual communication through out the project. When required, the Exyte team spend extra hours on zoom calls just to sync up with the internal team and be on the same wavelength. They also efficiently adopted to our toolset instead of forcing their own onto us.

Their deep, long term knowledge of the historic tech landscape along with their focus on bleeding edge technologies is what, above all else makes Exyte a great engineering company.
