We were looking for a technology partner that could do all of the heavy lifting when it comes to making custom event pages for our clients so we could focus on growing the company.

The project covered the full development of a two-sided mobile app for iOS and Android, a platform designed to connect K to 12 students with on-demand, vetted tutors across subjects ranging from math and science to reading and coding.

We're currently in the beta testing phase and approaching launch. The app is in its final stages and will be hitting the app stores soon. The feedback along the way has been genuinely encouraging. Our internal team has responded very positively to what's been built: the design, the flow, and the overall feel of the app all landed well. Early beta testing with a select group has also produced positive responses, which is validating given how important it was to us to get the user experience right from the start. We've collected some actionable improvement ideas through that process, and the Dedicated Developers team has already been working on incorporating that feedback. It's a good sign when a development company stays engaged and responsive even in the refinement stage rather than treating the work as done.

Project management was one of the stronger aspects of working with Dedicated Developers. They used Teamwork to keep the project organized, which made it easy to track progress, see where things stood, and stay aligned without having to chase updates. Zoom was our go-to for regular check-ins, and those calls were always productive. No fluff, just clear communication about where things were and what was coming next. The team was responsive when questions or changes came up and handled them without making a big deal of it. Overall, the process felt smooth and well-managed, which made a real difference given the complexity of building a multi-platform app from the ground up.

Nothing significant comes to mind. The overall experience has been a positive one. The feedback loop we've established is working well, and Dedicated Developers has been proactive about addressing the refinements that have come out of testing. If there's one thing to keep in mind for future projects, it's that the early feedback and testing phase can surface ideas quickly, so having a clear process in place for prioritizing those iterations is something both sides can continue to refine together.

The backend was built to support a scalable station catalog with stable, low-latency streaming.
