We initially hired Cultivate to work on our Brand Refresh project. This included brand strategy, key messaging, and brand identity. From there, we hired them to complete a large scale photo / video project to help support the brand refresh and tell the brand story. This included two plant photoshoots and seven DIYer and Pro shoots.

The brand refresh project was first rolled out to our internal plant audience. It was met with excitement and positive feedback. The new identity has been embraced by our plants and our sales team. It is currently being rolled out to our B2B and B2C customers, and has provided our sales team with the opportunity to re-tell our company and brand story.

Cultivate delivered items on time to the best of their ability. Any delays in terms of deliverables were a result of them waiting on feedback and decisions from us, and were very open about how that could impact timelines.

Cultivate partnered with our team on a range of initiatives in the second half of 2025, and the impact has been significant. Most critically, they helped us articulate who we are and give ourselves appropriate credit for the quality and depth of work we deliver. Their guidance brought clarity to our positioning and messaging in a way that felt authentic and aligned with our values. We also got an amazing new logo and brand "facelift" in the process!

They delivered a cohesive visual and verbal identity that increased internal alignment and confidence in business development conversations. Communication was seamless across Slack and email, and collaboration in Figma made feedback cycles efficient. They were consistently responsive and kept moving, even very closely leading up to the conference. Beyond the strategic and creative work, they stepped in tactically by handling the printing of several conference materials, which significantly reduced our internal load and allowed our team to stay focused on delivery.

Cultivate is a small business supporting us, another small business! There was a level of thoughtfulness and intentionality in how they approached our work that made the experience feel highly collaborative. Their discovery process was especially strong. Kendal asked sharp, strategic questions that pushed us to think more clearly about our positioning and brand narrative. We were also impressed by their creative and effective use of Miro to facilitate workshops and organize complex ideas in a way that was both visually compelling and practically useful.

One artifact that would have been helpful along the way is a more formalized project plan or timeline delivered in a tool such as Microsoft Project, Asana, JIRA, or TeamGantt. While communication was strong and deliverables were met, having a centralized, visual timeline with milestones, dependencies, and clear ownership would have provided additional structure and visibility across phases, particularly as multiple workstreams (brand, conference prep, photo/video capture) were running in parallel.

I’m the marketing manager at MTM Trailers, a trailer manufacturing company.

We needed help with web design and media work, including photography and videography. Our goal was to increase engagement on our website and become a more established brand within the industry.

Cultivate Brands has built our website and done media work for us. Initially, we did some workshops to figure out our brand voice and tone. From there, the team scheduled the photoshoots and video shoots we needed while simultaneously building out the new website.

Cultivate Brands is extremely knowledgeable about looking at the functionality of the website and how we could optimize it for better conversions for our users.

The only area for improvement is that sometimes we, as the client, aren't sure what we need to approve or what they're waiting on from us.

I recommend trusting the process. There may be a little bit of legwork in the beginning, but be patient because it will ultimately lead to wonderful results.

The scope of the work entailed several website strategy sessions, which led into a branding direction that would inform a new website. Casting, directing, filming and photographing at an off-site venue was coordinated and provided imagery and video for the new site, as well as branding assets to be carried into other marketing channels. A completely new, multi-functional website was built, which included complex user log in, tiered access and a tremendous amount of content.

A fully functional website and sub-site were built, new branding (including imagery and language) (was implemented that completely refreshed our marketing materials and our staff was trained on content/website management to be able to sustain new website use.

We were very impressed with overall project management, as well as Cultivate's accessibility and responsiveness. Project specification/scope and budget were clearly outlined beforehand so there were never any surprises. They kept our team accountable to deadlines, but were also flexible when we needed more time. All project components were delivered on time. Their team was especially open to our feedback and was collaborative with us in getting our messaging and branding "just right."

Cultivate is unique in that they have a large team of people that are highly specialized in their field (i.e. photography, videography, web strategy, branding, design). This means that they are using the most-up-to-date technology, equipment and methods available in their craft. They are extremely professional, but a fun, laid-back, and creative group to work with. They understood our constituency and culture and were able to really capture our "voice."

I really appreciated that Cultivate invited members of our team to join in and help on our offsite photography and filming days. Not only was this a great learning experience for our team, it was awesome to observe the Cultivate team at work. I own a construction company that delivers on-site production efficiency systems for contractors and trim crews.

We’ve hired Cultivate Brands to create a mobile application that streamlines our processes and communications. Previously, we’d worked with a company and didn’t have the best experience. We were looking for a company that could understand our vision, so we brought in Cultivate Brands.

The app is being developed from scratch for iOS and Android. One of the app's features is that users can take two measurements for a window that needs to be trimmed out. By setting a few parameters in the app and entering those two measurements, the app produces a cut list for any trim style. That list is then seamlessly provided to an automated saw.
