The project scope included the design of separate, role-specific user flows for students and tutors based on our technical recommendations, covering end-to-end UX architecture, detailed UI design, and the development of a cohesive, consistent visual style across all pages and interactions.

Cosmos Studio redesigned our website over an eight month engagement, taking us from a set of loose internal ideas through to a finished set of designs ready for development.

The site is still in development, so no traffic data yet. What we do have is a complete set of designs and assets, all signed off internally, with nothing outstanding at handover.

We worked in weekly check-ins rather than to fixed deadlines, and that rhythm worked really well. They shared progress at every stage and asked for our feedback as they went, and anything we raised was implemented by the next call. Communication was excellent throughout. They were flexible with meetings and schedules, worked around us when we needed to shift things, and were always easy to reach.

The animation work stood out: it was visually strong and is a big part of what gives our site its character. They also got to the direction we wanted quickly, and stayed involved past handover, joining calls with our developers to walk them through the designs.

We mostly communicated over WhatsApp, which was easy and kept things moving, but recaps sometimes got lost in the thread. A short weekly email summarising progress and what they needed from us would have been easier to refer back to.
