I’m the COO of a financial services company.

We were an early-stage startup with limited budget and bandwidth, but we understood the importance of creating awareness and building a top funnel to our brand and website. We needed support to create relevant content that would drive traffic to our website and hopefully convert that traffic into new users on the early bird platform.

We started with a crawl/walk/run approach. We partnered with Codeless on monthly content, and they delivered long-form blog articles for our website and an overall strategy around SEO for that content. It was planned out over multiple months and quarters. We initially did four articles per month. Since then, we’ve scaled that to eight articles per month.

We’ve primarily worked with three main points of contact. Also, we’ve had between 2–4 writers, some account strategists, an account manager, and a project manager.

A fellow founder referred them to us. We liked the interaction we had with the account strategist, his thoughtfulness, and the strategic approach he took to understand our business and needs.

We spend between $4,000–$6,000 per month.

We started working together in October 2020, and our relationship is ongoing.

The overall quality has been outstanding, and it continues to iterate, evolve, and get better as we input more feedback loops into the process. We’ve seen a non-ranking, non-existent website move from zero domain authority to upwards of 50. Also, we’ve gone from a couple of hundred website visitors to close to 70,000 monthly with a large portion of that coming from blog traffic. Overall, the traffic stays and reads the content they put together, which speaks to their quality.

They’re very timely — they’re usually ahead of schedule. Codeless uses Asana and email to communicate with us.

They’re willing to take feedback and grow with the business. The team evolves their strategy based on where we’re at. Moreover, they’re analytical from a data perspective, do actual research, engage with their writers, and create processes to create quality content. They hold their writers accountable for producing good quality. If they aren’t, they swap them out or work with them and the company to create a more refined style guide to produce better content.

If they could expand additional offerings, that’d be good. However, Codeless knows what they’re good at, and they execute there.

Codeless plans and executes our SEO strategy; they also work on content marketing. They identify keywords to target and then create and write site content and articles to utilize them. Each article is published on our blog sites.

Codeless has amazing project management. We use ClickUp and coordinate discussions via emails.

Codeless goes above and beyond for us — they answer our questions at any time to ensure we're getting what we need. They care about their work and are essentially an extension of our team. They have excellent attention to detail and are fantastic to work with.

I can't think of anything for Codeless to improve.

I'd advise customers to ask Codeless a lot of questions about the project — customers can use Codeless as an opportunity to help their internal team learn more about SEO.
