I’m an executive at a digital media company that’s part of a broadcast company. We digitalize leaflets in an app.

Our main focus in marketing was to increase our reach, so we were looking for an agency to help our very small marketing team, which was only one person at that point.

App Radar has helped us set up performance campaigns on Facebook and app-installed campaigns. The team also helps us with app store optimization (ASO) to improve our rankings on the app stores and ensure users can find us. They work with specific keywords and also on the paid side of ASO, where they bid on certain keywords. They also handle the screenshots of the app within the app stores.

We have three teammates from App Radar working on our campaigns. We also work with the client director, and a key account manager looks into our competitors.

They got hired before I started in my position. I believe someone at our company knew a teammate from App Radar from another job, and that’s how the contact got established. When I started working with the company, I looked at all our agencies, and App Radar seemed like one to keep, so we continued working with them.

We started working with them in Q3 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

App Radar has reached our KPIs; they’ve been able to decrease our CPI and increase download volume to gain more reach. As for ASO, we’ve seen a huge improvement in our placements in the app stores.

We give them the timeframes, and they always meet those deadlines. We have very good communication with them, so we’re always very clear about the budget; whenever they overspend, they correct it the next day. We use Slack to communicate in-house and have a channel to keep in touch with App Radar.

App Radar’s operation is very good; they optimize our campaigns manually and keep a close eye on them. Instead of only having software to look over the numbers, they do manual work on each campaign, which I like. The team has the same mindset as us — they move fast and understand what we need. I also appreciate their detailed monthly reporting, which gives us a good overview of our campaigns and what the competition is doing.

We’re in good shape right now, so I don’t have any suggestions for improvement.

The Public Transport Authority Eastern Region (Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region VOR) is the largest transport association in Austria. With more than 40 partners in rail and bus transport, it has provided comprehensive mobility services for passengers in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland (in short: Eastern Region) since 1984. The modern mobility agency VOR is responsible for the cross- border planning, financing and coordination of all public transport services in that region.

We have strong competitors regarding our app and wanted to optimize the visability and ultimately the downloads through app store optimisation - app radar was the company that had the best reviews and was the best choice we could have done.

We made a reasearch for the best suppliers and app radar was ranked number one.

The App Radar team first made a competitor analysis for us and we decided which ones where direct competitiórs and set our goals. Additionally we made a creative analysis of the app in the stores including screens etc. on a third level we went through each keyword and description in the app stores and optimised them.App Radar also recommended further To-Dos for us that we could also implement on our own.

Within just 3 months the ranking of our app improved, reviews were going up, downloads were also constantly rising since the optimisation process that we went through with App Radar.

I am the founder of a market research application. Our users are primarily US based.

We needed help acquiring users from the App Store and the Google Play Store. We did not have experience with App Store Optimization (ASO) and turned to App Radar for help.

We talked to 3 or 4 ASO agencies. App Radar offered a lot of expertise and experience, allowed us to start small and scale up, and started at a reasonable price point.

App Radar has provided us with full-scale ASO. They take care of creatives, keyword research and optimization, competitor analysis, paid ads, and more. Basically everything we can ask for in order to market our app for Apple and Google. We are planning to use them for social media advertising as well, but we have not started that yet.

When we started using these services, we saw roughly double our previous traffic within a month. We ranked higher for many keywords and had a much broader set of keywords. Our creatives looked better and our conversion rates improved. Paid ads has added fuel to the fire and kept the quick growth going.

We communicate primarily via slack. We have a lot going on and App Radar is good about reminding me when I still need to get them information, materials or feedback. I wanted them to take this off of my plate and to not think about it too much, they have definitely done that.

They are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They did a good job laying out options and giving solid recommendations. Their results have been great, and that is really the most important thing for me.

We screened several different agencies and collected feedback from other startups working with them. We selected App Radar based on very positive feedback from the community.

App Store Optimization (Meta Data, Key word optimization, Visuals, etc) and Management of payed marketing campaigns on Google, App Store and Facebook.

Depending on area we have been working with different members from the team. Now our key contact is the account manager which gives us weekly updates on the campaigns and organizes monthly meetings to discuss next steps, changes, ideas, etc.

It was and still is a very successful project with them. Managed to increase downloads and conversion (decrease in customer acquisition costs) over time due to several iterations and improvements.

We always perceived the interactions with the team as very productive and efficient. Besides the short update calls (which are always perfectly prepared from their side) we have a slack channel to communicate frequently on more urgent topics.

Really good conversations with very competent team members who are experts in their fields; amazing preparation of all meetings. They were highly supportive of finding solutions in case we needed some special support.
