I’m the marketing communications manager of a manufacturing company. We design, manufacture, and distribute clean drinking water systems, including bottle filling stations, drinking fountains, and filtration solutions. We serve global markets with a focus on innovation and sustainability for over 115 years.

We needed a full-service agency to assist with digital updates for our website. We had a complex ask for our outdated web platform.

We have many projects constantly open with thunder::tech across multiple areas. They’ve updated the UX design of our website’s landing pages. They’ve also developed and managed a customer-facing portal for accessing order information, including tracking, purchase orders, and inventory.

We’ve worked with 6–10 teammates from thunder::tech. There are many involved with each project.

I had a referral from someone who was an intern with them a long time ago, as well as a referral from a previous coworker. We knew we would have a complex ask for our outdated web platform and needed a full-service agency to assist with digital updates for our website.

We started working with thunder::tech in September 2023, and our partnership is ongoing.

thunder::tech has completed and launched the ordering portal. They’ve also launched the updated UX designs and features built out on our website. Moreover, they’ve connected data from our CMS and PIM to our website. We’ve seen an increase in clicks, impressions, and engagement from our paid lead generation campaigns.

thunder::tech does a pretty good job with project management. As mentioned before, there have been some challenges with the portal, and the delivery has been delayed. However, this has also been due to changing expectations on my end for that project.

thunder::tech’s knowledge base is impressive. It’s nice to work with a professional team that can help in multiple areas of our business. When I was looking into them, that was what first attracted me to thunder::tech: their professionalism.

I’m happy with thunder::tech’s web development. I would say that paid advertising is still an ongoing learning curve for us personally. We’re not seeing the exact results, but again, it could be due to the limitations in place for the campaigns.

The scope of this project included a complete redesign and relaunch of a robust higher education website.

There were many. The main one included launching a brand new site within one year of the start of the project (which occured).

The project management was AMAZING! James was uber communicative and was very responsive to our needs. Especially as they changed throughout the project.

Their development abilities. They were able to do front end development and application development and beta testing and edits all within 3 1/2 months. And create a site that looks amazing and is already showing divadends for us in terms of website traffic. We could ask for something and they were able to make it happen in development or find a way to make it happen.

Where we ended up with design was amazing but I think on some projects, making sure to give some room for design iteration and space to sit on it could be helpful. We ended up putting this as part of the process and it was really to our benefit. I think it could be something that becomes helpful to other clients as well.

We were able to launch our website on time with all of the assets that we asked for including some that needed to be edited very last minute.

Thunder::tech was incredible at adjusting and being extremely available for all of our needs. They delivered items on time and we used Basecampfor project management. All of our teams' tasks as well as theirs was documented and clearly trackable.

Our initial project with Thunder::Tech was a responsive website design and development. Through the project, we also refreshed our brand guidelines. Key Deliverables and Milestones included:

Our organizational cultures meshed very well from Day 1, which continues today. We had weekly meetings for PM touchpoints, design reviews, and milestone reviews. We tracked project status via an online portal. THunder::Tech delivered all milestones and the site launch on time. Not only did Thunder::Tech's team respond to our needs, but they also coached us through the process.

As noted, our company cultures mesh very well. We truly had fun working together. They pushed us to be better and allowed us to do the same. Thunder::Tech is not territorial with their work. On multiple occasions, they've helped train our internal staff so we can perform ongoing maintenance and updates.

I wouldn't change anything outside of some initial account management turnover early in our project. Thunder::Tech's leadership team remedied the staffing situation, and we've had a tremendous multi-year relationship with our AM and many key team members.
