We received a VR application that met our expectations and technical requirements. The studio managed to utilize the new features of Unreal Engine 5, which improved the performance and overall look of the app.

Work showed that the studio is able to adapt to difficult conditions, quickly solves problems, effectively allocates resources, and properly utilizes them. We are pleased with the result of the work done by them.

I’m the founder of a solo development shop that builds game experiences for Decentraland in the Metaverse.

The 3D character creation and 3D modeling weren’t my strong suits, so I had to outsource those services. I got some concept art done, and I reached out to SVAIY to help me make that art come to life in 3D.

SVAIY provided me with 3D character modeling and creation. Initially, I told them what I wanted and provided some examples of the concept art for the characters I wanted them to create. Then, they took my input and created the 3d characters.

I worked mainly with a project manager from SVAIY. Additionally, I worked with Kseniya (Head of Business Management) a lot, as well as with a few 3D modelers. Over time, those modelers were narrowed down to only one so that we could get a consistent style.

I found them on Guru. I had launched a job offering on Guru soliciting bids, and SVAIY’s proposal was the most impressive. Thus, we engaged in a trial period, and they performed very well, so we continued our relationship. Over time, they became my exclusive 3D provider.

I spent around $10,000.

We started working together around March 2020, and we paused our collaboration in March 2022. We’re currently going through funding issues, but once we have the funds, we will work with SVAIY again.

SVAIY did a great job at interpreting the concert art; the characters they designed looked almost exactly like the concept art I provided them with, which I really loved. Additionally, everyone I’ve shown the designs to has been very impressed.

SVAIY’s project management was very good. They were great at communicating and setting up meetings, even outside of their time zone. Additionally, they ensured to stay in touch throughout the project. We mainly communicated via Telegram, and we had a few Zoom calls. Moreover, we communicated through Guru.

SVAIY was great at delivering work quickly; they worked very fast compared to other agencies. Their team excelled at taking my vision and making it a reality very quickly and with high quality for a reasonable price. Moreover, they did a great job with the model textures. Their strengths were the reason why they became my exclusive 3D designers.

One of our biggest challenges was creating wearables for Decentraland; there were a lot of technical specifics on how to create those wearables. Additionally, we faced some language barriers regarding the documentation I provided that detailed what I needed, so we went back and forth on that information a lot. Still, we eventually figured everything out.

Be as clear as you can upfront regarding what you’re looking for and provide them with examples and as many reference materials as possible so that they can do a great job for you.

I’m the CEO of Nordmay, a game development studio with about five teammates.

We needed additional staff.

SVAIY ART provided us with staff to work on our project. They worked on 3D models and level design. Their team optimized our 3D art and animations for the games. For each task, I provided them with my concept art for the landscape and characters.

I’m unsure how many teammates worked on the project because I only connected with the project managers.

I found SVAIY ART on Upwork. Vadym (Founder & CEO) contacted me there, and we started the partnership.

We invested less than $10,000.

This partnership was from August–September 2022.

In general, I measured SVAIY ART’s success through the performance of their deliverables. Specifically, I looked at how well the deliverables worked on PC games. We also noted what changed in the games after the project concluded.

We communicated through Telegram and video meetings on Google Meet. SVAIY ART met our deadlines.

SVAIY ART executed the project quickly, and everything met our needs exactly. I appreciated not having to wait long periods of time for the deliverables.

I don’t have any improvements.
