I’m the technical director at Halo I.S Ltd, a cybersecurity consultancy and penetration testing company.

We do penetration testing, and when we test products, we typically find vulnerabilities and report them to the clients using PDFs; however, this process is very static and not very distributable. We had no developers in-house, so we needed help building a web app to improve that process.

SapientPro has developed a custom web app and provided some design work. The team has used PHP to build an app that helps with vulnerability tracking and lifecycle management. With it, users can log in, see the last test results, and distribute the findings to people in our team to address and manage workflows.

There are about eight people on the team, ranging from frontend designers to backend developers. I keep in touch with a project manager who distributes the work internally.

We found them through Google. We contacted about 10 companies, shortlisted them, and decided to go with SapientPro.

Their work has met our expectations. There haven't been any real issues. I identify any change requests, feature requests, or bugs and report them, and they've resolved them quickly, typically within a day or a few days.

They've performed pretty well in meeting deadlines and staying on budget. The project manager is responsible for assembling the estimates for additional work and distributing them internally. That's the person I usually deal with whenever something needs to happen.

I want to give kudos to Ion and Mykola; they are very helpful.

They're generally quick to fix things and address bugs or implement features. However, I'm fairly busy and sometimes don't have time to review what they've done, taking a couple of weeks before I get to it. They're quite flexible in terms of fitting around our schedule.

I don't think there's much to improve. There have been a few changes, but that wasn't down to them; we were not specifying everything. It isn't easy to write everything down accurately when envisioning a project. Much of it gets left vague, and it takes time to figure things out as it's being developed. There have been a couple of cases where we've had to build something to specification, and then we've decided to change it.

Initially, a defined inspection of the project must be conducted. If you know exactly what you want and the features you want, that will help. It will also reduce any additional costs on top of the initial estimation.

Sapient Pro had a great undersanding of the task at hand. They took time to understand the challenge and made rapid progress once development started. Each module of software was tried and tested in easy steps. Our requirement has been further defined throughout the devlopement and every challenge has been met with a collaborative approach that's made working with Sapient Pro very easy.

Weekly team meetings voia Google Meet and fast responces to issues via our devlopment WhatApp group has aided the devlopment. Asana software has allowed each module to be viewed and updated for all to see.

Sapient Pro are very good communicators, even though English may not be their first language. Their speed and efficiency of development have been very impressive.

You can't improve on perfection

I'm the project manager of a consulting company based in Germany. We specialize in project management for large companies.

SapientPro is extremely reliable and unbelievably fast to respond. Whenever I need support from the team, they usually respond within five minutes. SapientPro is also available on the weekends. The team's availability and reliability are excellent.

SapientPro can improve their internal QA process by conducting internal code reviews and technical testing before handing work over for business tests. It would be exceptionally good if the team invested in those areas. I also suggest the team extend its portfolio to get an additional grip on the German market, although I believe they're already recruiting German-speaking project leads. In general, it would benefit SapientPro to have technical leads who speak different languages so they can explore international markets and projects.

I can’t think of anything for SapientPro to improve on. If there is any issue, we talk about it together.

I recommend future clients have a clear idea of the product they want to sell. Working with an external company requires the ability to know what you want and be able to articulate it clearly.
