I’m the founder of a blockchain startup.

We were trying to understand the technical feasibility of a blockchain-based software product.

We engaged with PixelPlex provided us with a feasibility study, research, and consultancy services for a real estate investment token we were developing. The team essentially delivered a technical scope that describes the product and our business, and produced a product roadmap that included various features we needed to implement over time.

I worked with a client relations manager, three researchers, and a technical product lead.

I researched online and asked for referrals within the industry, and PixelPlex came up as the most suitable partner for this project. After hearing their pitch, acquiring materials from their past projects, and talking with their previous clients, I signed an agreement to work with them.

We worked on this project from July–December 2023.

I relied on their expertise and experience to build a feasible blockchain solution, which made the engagement highly successful.

The team consistently adhered to our timelines and stayed within the budget range they initially proposed. In addition, PixelPlex did a great job keeping us up to date on the project's progress.

We were impressed with their general blockchain expertise, professionalism, and overall scoping process.

They did a really good job for us, but they should consider hiring US-based employees. It would’ve been easier for us to collaborate schedule-wise, and the communication would’ve been faster and clearer.

Nothing specific for PixelPlex, but I’d suggest interviewing multiple firms and picking the one that would be most suitable for your needs and goals.

I’m the CEO of NuPay Technologies, a technology company based in Ohio. We’re currently in the process of releasing tech products, such as an NFT marketplace with a unique layer one blockchain.

We had an architectural design idea for the product we wanted to build and release into the world, but we didn’t know how to do it.

We initially reached out to PixelPlex and had early discussions about the project. Then, we went through the contract stage and negotiations. Ultimately, we signed some NDAs, and they started to build our products for us. The first product was an NFT marketplace; they built it entirely from scratch.

At one point, they had 12 developers working on our project, including blockchain engineers and QA people. Our main point of contact was Eugene (Project Manager).

We heard their name from a client in the US. He told us to call them, so we searched for them on Google and looked into their background.

We spent about $1.5 million

We worked with them from August–October 2022.

Since they built the product for us, we haven’t had crashes, bugs, or glitches within the website. Overall, we were happy with their work.

Project management was excellent. They did what they promised and communicated well with us. They informed us when they were working through issues and called us back when they fixed them.

Communication was their biggest strength. They kept us in the loop and informed us of the project status.

No, I don’t think I could tell them how they could do better. They did a good job.

My advice is to deliver a clear architectural design of what you’re looking to build.

I’m the co-founder and COO of Uforika, an original Web3 Metaverse platform providing tools for content creators and gamers. We also have two native gaming experiences within the Metaverse, one of which is a hoverboard racing experience, and the other one is a creature battling experience.

We hired PixelPlex to help us with our platform’s blockchain elements for writing smart contracts.

PixelPlex has not only helped us with our smart contract functionality, but they’ve also helped us get those smart contracts audited for the Fora token, our platform’s native token. Their team has also helped us scope, design, and build a custom wallet and a marketplace for buying and selling NFTs.

We currently work with the project manager, the business analyst, and a blockchain specialist. In the early days, we also worked with the CEO, who is also a blockchain specialist, and several designers.

We did a lot of research and made comparisons between different providers, and we felt that PixelPlex was the best suited for the project.

We’ve spent £117,000 (approximately $134,000 USD).

We began working with them in March 2022, and it is an ongoing engagement.

The most successful result of our engagement is that PixelPlex has created a fully working prototype from scratch.

PixelPlex has delivered on time, and they’re very responsive. We usually go through things over a call, and if we find bugs, we let them know. However, we haven’t found many bugs. We also have Zoom meetings once a week, and we communicate daily on Slack.

PixelPlex is very professional and always readily available.

I don’t think there is anything they need to improve.

Make sure your requirements are clear before going to them.

Mainston is a provider of crypto services. I’m a coordinator between our internal IT department and our service providers.

We needed someone with expertise in crypto technology and in the crypto market as a whole since we were lacking that in-house. We engaged PixelPlex as a consultant and developer for our crypto projects.

PixelPlex helped us develop a technical vision and concept for our project, bringing in a lot of expertise, ideas, and resources that we didn’t have. They created a visionary document covering different architectures and solutions that could enable us to better serve our customers. After our approval, they created a roadmap, set up a team, and started development.

They set up different teams for each project we’re running. We have a project manager, an account manager, a business analyst, a strategy consultant, and two researchers for the first project.

Our CEO knew about PixelPlex and asked me to contact them.

The cost so far is around $60,000. Our arrangement is we put money in advance in an account, and they take what they need from that account.

We started working with PixelPlex in April 2021, and it’s an ongoing partnership. The first project is expected to finish within a few weeks. The second project, which started in September 2021, is on track for its second phase in the coming months.

It’s too early to talk about the success of the project, as we don’t yet have any definitive metrics. We do, however, conduct weekly demos with PixelPlex, and we find them very agile and able to analyze and envision the project for us.

PixelPlex always promptly answers our questions, regardless of the time. Though there have been reasonable delays, their responsiveness remains top-notch. We use Google Docs for sharing documents and Telegram for communicating.

One impressive thing about PixelPlex is their ability to put together a team based on the client’s request. Their account management, project management, and organization are pretty spot-on, and their communication is always clear. Another strong point of theirs is their pricing; it’s very competitive for this kind of project.

PixelPlex could improve a little in terms of their technical documentation. The first technical draft was a bit too light for us. I sometimes have to ask them to be more precise, especially when specifying which parts should be developed at which time. Though they end up doing it at my request, it would also be nice to have them proactively correct it themselves.

Assign an account manager from your own company and make sure that that person has a technical background. Even though PixelPlex is able to simplify anything, you will still need a technical person involved in the project to help you understand complicated concepts.

I’m the co-founder of Circularr, a sustainable blockchain business located in London.

We have all of the machinery in-house and were looking to connect those with our application to provide full traceability in our blockchain. We turned to PixelPlex to develop a software solution for our business.

PixelPlex helped us architect and build out an MVP for our blockchain ecosystem. The software would provide end-to-end traceability of plastics as they are recycled and converted into textiles and merchandise. We patented the whole process and had PixelPlex develop the solution in JavaScript and on the XRP Ledger framework. The team also utilized the Decentralized Finance or DeFi network and integrated IoT technologies into the software.

At the moment, we are working with 10–12 people from PixelPlex. A majority of them are business analysts, blockchain consultants, and developers.

One of their business developers reached out to me on LinkedIn. I liked their proactive approach because, at the time, we were having trouble looking for folks who ticked all of our boxes. We did research on their company and found their profile Clutch. It was their ratings, coupled with examples of their work and their client base, that really pushed us to engage with them.

The project costs roughly $200,000.

We started our engagement in June 2021 and it is still ongoing.

We’ve gotten pretty successful results so far in our engagement with PixelPlex. We can’t name the specific clients that we’ve been able to build relationships with through the creation of the MVP, but we’ve definitely established a customer base in the financial services, entertainment, and sports sectors. We’re hopeful that this project could also guarantee our success in securing grants.

PixelPlex really tries to understand what is that we do. One of their head consultants even came to London to meet with us in person and talk us through the process. We’ve been communicating through Slack and Google Hangouts since then, and we’ve found the PixelPlex team to be punctual and very fluent in English.

What really stands out about PixelPlex is their deep understanding of blockchain technologies, solutions, and assets. Through their knowledge and experience, they help us understand the pitfalls, benefits, and drawbacks of every framework and approach.

There’s none that I can think of at the moment.

Make sure that you’ve identified a top-level idea that you want to go with prior to kicking off the engagement because this will save you a lot of time and money. However, you could also participate in PixelPlex’s discovery sessions.
