We needed help developing a software for our company.

Luby Software is helping us with software development from scratch. We’ve started the process by meeting with them, where they’ve shown their productivity and concern about understanding our requirements in order to fit our needs.

Luby Software has created two squads that work in parallel on different subjects, and each team has 5–7 persons assigned. In each of these squads, I’ve worked with Wagner (Head of Growth), Paolo (Project Manager), Luis (Backend Developer), Jon (Owner), coordinators, managers, and developers.

A business partner referred them to us. In our first meetings, they seemed committed to fulfilling our needs, which was unique in service providers.

So far, we’ve spent $500,000 with them since we decided to expand the project’s scope.

We started working together in August 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.

We're about to review the platform's front page that Luby Software is creating, and if there are minor changes or adaptations, they'll address them. The team has everything well defined and measured so far and delivered everything with high quality.

Luby Software uses the Agile methodology to define every step of the project before every sprint. The team is also punctual without any delays and flexible and precise in adapting the budget based on our changing and expanding requirements. Regarding communication, we use Slack, but they're flexible enough to adjust to my preferred platforms: Skype and WhatsApp.

Our experience with the whole team involved in my project has been remarkable. Nonetheless, Paulo and Luis are my main points of contact.

Luby Software is the best-organized company I've worked with by far, and I think that's the key to the project's success. The way Paulo organizes everything is unique.

The project entailed the development of a mobile application for a client of ours that aimed to foster personal relationships through the strengths-based approach methodology. The central phase, executed by Luby, was software development through IT augmentation, during which close collaboration was maintained with Luby's developers and our our client's stakeholders to ensure the effective integration between the teams. Their involvement also includes maintenance after each feature is launched, securing a user-friendly and safe experience for new and existing app users. Key Deliverables:

Even though they were only software developers, they demonstrated excellent self-management skills, marked by professionalism and effective communication on their tasks. All deliverables were completed within the agreed timelines, demonstrating the team's efficiency and dependability. Responsive and proactive, Luby's team readily catered to our needs, establishing themselves as more than service providers, but partners.

What stood out about Luby was their exceptional commitment to client satisfaction. They displayed a unique blend of technical expertise, proactive communication, and adaptability. Their understanding of our vision and their ability to translate that into a functional product is truly impressive. Also noteworthy was Luby's dedication to maintaining open and sincere communication that made the project process smooth and enjoyable.

Despite the generally positive experience with Luby Software, the initial stages of the project did leave some room for improvement. Specifically, the process of interviewing candidates for the development team was somewhat challenging, as we encountered several individuals who weren't quite the fit we were hoping for in terms of expertise and experience. However, I must stress that even though this aspect of the process could have been streamlined, it was a minor hiccup in an otherwise successful project journey. The final team assembled by Luby Software was excellent and well-integrated, which quickly offset the initial difficulties. This small stumbling block in no way detracted from the overall high quality of Luby's work on our project.

We hired Luby to help us evolve our customer portal, with a main focus on improving the usability of existing features in addition to implementing new services for our customers.

Based on our NPS survey, we identified a list of items that we could add to our portal to provide a better experience for our customers. From this list we define an initial MVP and start the development process.
