I’m the senior manager of customer insights and analyst relations at Liferay, an open-source digital experience platform (DXP) that enables organizations to create, manage, and scale websites, customer portals, intranets, and other digital solutions across various industries.

We needed help generating awareness in the market for Liferay's offerings.

Idea Grove provides PR services, including writing press releases, commissioning surveys, and pitching reporters. The team has written press releases about our new headless CMS launch and the results of our evaluation in the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide AI-Enabled Full-Stack Content Management Systems. Idea Grove has also written surveys on how users react when websites feel unsafe or broken and on digital self-service. Moreover, the team has placed quotes from Liferay executives in multiple publications, including Forbes.

Idea Grove's unique angle is the idea of surveys. As part of our contract, the team produces four digital PR survey campaigns a year. Idea Grove creates the survey, fields it, and writes a report about the results that gets published on our website and pitched to reporters.

We needed help outlining and executing a survey for our legal vertical. The goal was to promote the survey to boost thought leadership visibility, strengthen PR, and generate potential prospects.

Idea Grove helped us develop and refine the survey content and questions. They also fielded the survey to gather responses and turned the raw data into a market-relevant report. Then, the team created and designed the report, wrote and distributed a press release, and promoted it to media outlets to secure coverage in articles, podcasts, and other channels.

We've seen an increase in our media coverage, which has increased our visibility and thought leadership quality. It has also provided a strong asset to use in our marketing efforts both at events and as a downloadable.

One of Idea Grove's selling points is their ability to communicate and deliver on time. We mainly communicate via email and weekly checking meetings.

I like that we can work with the same core group of teammates throughout various projects. It makes the kickoff process go smoother and faster.
