I’m the head of user experience and brand experience for a digital token marketplace.

We needed help building our website and a HubSpot integration.

The website already existed, but Dashbouqet revamped it and redesigned it. We provided their team with wireframes and user journeys. I brought in external expertise to help them with the HubSpot integration, but Dashbouqet did the backend work to deliver the integration.

We’re working with around five frontend engineers and project management resources.

They approached me for the first engagement, and I compared them against two other companies on my shortlist. I liked that they worked remotely and were scalable.

I’m the CFO and CTO of 100Shapes, a US-based design agency that specializes in UX services for large organizations.

We needed Dashbouquet’s help with custom web development.

We worked on a number of projects with Dashbouquet. One of the biggest projects we had was for a certification company. Our team was in charge of providing design services to them, and we oversaw the frontend development of a compliance tool.

Dashbouquet provided us with developers, QA testers, and a project manager. I had close contact with the project manager and direct access to the developers.

Our project for the certification company was a big success. We managed to deliver everything to the end customer on time — the client was truly happy with our work. The project was a bit tricky since we were replacing an old platform and bringing a lot of new functionality to the customer’s staff. However, they said the product allowed them to work three times faster than before. On top of that, they were getting richer data.

Dashbouquet’s project management was truly good. They were prepared and went above and beyond the call of duty. In fact, their resources were ready to work late hours for us and charged reasonable overtime rates if we needed them. Moreover, the team was transparent whenever they thought things would be delayed. They never missed a deadline, too.

The team was truly accommodating. They were flexible and able to scale up when we need them even on short notice.

They’re a big company, so we might not get the same developers as before when we have to scale up. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s not ideal for us.

Have regular contact with Dashbouquet. The more you bring them in, the better and more invested they become.

I'm the CEO of Pyroscope which is an open-core company meaning that we are mostly open source, but also have a closed-source enterprise product that complements the open source product

As an open source project and a very small team, there are a ton of requests that we get from users who are trying to get a single open source project to solve a very wide array of use cases.

We've worked with over 50 different contractors / contracting firms to help us ease the burden of being able to accomplish some of the tasks, but over time we started to find that working with contractors can be a very difficult and resource-consuming process.

This part is difficult to even describe because the breadth and depth of the projects that dashbouquet has helped us with spans across so many different areas: They were able to build a Node agent that allowed for node and javascript users to be able to use our software, They built out various key frontend features for our main project of Pyroscope.io.

The management style is by far the biggest differentiator for dashbouquet compared to the other contractors / contracting companies that we've worked with.

The most impressive part about this company was the fact that they don't just have a bunch of engineers, but rather a full-service software development team.

The one area of improvement is that occasionally because they do work together as a team sometimes we don't get to see the actual code that's being written everyday and thus occasionally when they are on the wrong path it can sometimes take a little while to correct and do everything correctly

I’m the CTO of Red Rover, a startup that serves K-12 education institutions, primarily public school districts, and charter schools. We have back-office software in the people management space, and our flagship product deals with tracking employee absences. It also matches and places substitutes in classrooms. On top of that, we’ve added a time-tracking system to it for hourly employees.

While building our product in late 2019–early 2020, we knew we needed to have a mobile presence as one of our key differentiators from older players in our space. However, I had a small team, and they were focused on building the functionality of our server and web interface. As a result, I hired Dashbouquet to bring their experience in React Native to the team. They also helped us implement the app’s Android and iOS interface.

Dashbouquet implemented all the transaction features of our mobile app using our graphical API, React Native, and the designs that we gave them.

We worked with a product manager and tester. Initially, we also had two developers, but we cut that down to one developer in the middle of the project as we got out of the critical parts.

I was looking specifically for companies with React Native specialization when I found Dashbouquet on Clutch. After searching their website, I had an interview with their sales representative. I was pleased with their communication, and our business relationship started.

We spent around $200,000.

The engagement lasted from November 2019–August 2021.

We received great feedback for the app; customer testimonials indicated that users loved our app more than what they could get from our competitors. We also used the app in our sales demos. Moreover, since it was an enterprise app, we didn’t measure its mass adoption. In other words, users didn’t have to pay for it; it was only there for people who wanted to use it. As such, we had no quantitative success metrics.

I was unsure about project management when I first engaged with Dashbouquet, but I was pleased with how it worked out. Our team had a loose project management style; we worked closely and were fluid on tasks since we had a lot to do. In the end, the Dashbouquet team adapted to that.

The degree of their communication and flexibility across cultures and languages was a pleasant surprise. We wouldn’t have stayed engaged with them for as long as we did if they didn’t communicate flexibly with us. They were kind and did their best. On top of that, they took ownership of the project and provided real value as we threw out ideas to them. Overall, they were a highly independent team.

We dove into the code before Dashbouquet was done with it, but as we dug deeper and took over the code base, we saw that their TypeScript skills weren’t strong. Much of this was technical; simply put, we weren’t getting all the benefits that we’d like to get from the TypeScript.

If you have specific designs, technical direction, and a backend build, Dashbouquet will do great at translating those into a solid mobile app. They’ll also effectively provide direction around testing and app store delivery.
